Risk and Issues
The risk, which are related to the project, can happen at any time during the execution
of the project. All the risk relating to the project, can be managed in a central repository,
which is known as Risk Register. The risk factor can be broken down mainly into three main
part, which are impact, probability and mitigation. The aspect of probability is the likelihood
that an event can occur and the concept of impact describes that how the risk factor would be
affecting the project and its working (Heagney 2016). The risk factors can be related to the
concept of cost deviation and factor of overtime in the delivery of the project. As soon as the
issues in the project management is identified, it should be documented. Then an action plan
is made which would be helping to mitigate the problem. Ones the course of action is
selected it should be implemented as soon as possible this would be helping to reduce the
impact which it would be having on the project. The project manager plays the main role in
this aspect. Project manager identifies the course of action, which has to be implemented in
order to mitigate the problem. The team should be also involved in the activity to mitigate the
problem. The tracking of the risks and the issues can be done using a variety of methods.
They can be directly be tracked using the spreadsheet or paper. The online project
management software can be used to track the issue and the risks to track the project and its
operation. The entire team should also be active in the issue so that the problem can be
resolved in a small period (Fleming, Q.W. and Koppelman 2016).
