INTRODUCTION
In this contemporary business environment, it is important to focus on change and
development so that goals are accomplished. The gaming industry is changing at rapid scale and in
2020 the global gaming was valued at 162.32 billion (Azadvar, 2018). Main aim of this report is to
understand the change of gaming industry and market situation. The development of gaming
industry is required to be changed due to flexible market situation and audience expectations.
Ubisoft, a French video game company headquartered in France. The company aims at
development of video games and selling video game equipment. It has many competitors such as
Twitch, Wargaming, Zynga etc. This report comprises of historic development of video games
industry, technological innovation, relationship between audience expectations and product
development, presentation of research analysis and practices of contemporary games development.

The gaming industry is wider and broader and has been from long period of time. This
video gaming industry, was started back in early 1950's when academic computer scientists
designed simple games. Video games were not into that much popularity till 1970's. During 1970's

popularity. Then, video arcades games came into existence with large, graphics– decorated coin
operated machines at malls and events. These changes within gaming development industry took
place within six generation from 1970- 2013. With these six generation, it is essential to be well
aware of the how games and gaming industry has been changed at wider aspect. New consoles,
concept has been also adopted by sector. The time span of gaming is flexible and which is required
to be examined properly so that analysis is made in correct way (Deterding, 2017).
This is also analysed that with historic development of video gaming industry, quality and
content of games also changes at wider scale. It is too analysed that it is necessary to focus on these
changes as they help in examining of proper market situations and accordingly strategies are
implemented. In 2013, generation of arises including Nintendo's Wii U, Microsoft Xbox One and
Sony Play Station4 (Gerada, 2019. It is examined that PC gaming comprises of large market share

technology as well as innovation. It is seen that gaming has changed with advancement in

Graphics are important and focused by gaming industry as it provide a better experience to
users and gamers. With use of graphics, it is easy for users to interact with objects. It is critically
crucial to improve interaction so that users enjoy the game. Old online games were rely on two
dimensional graphics with text based graphics. With improvement and development of graphics
games have now become more realistic. With creation and improvement of the 3D Graphics the

platforms such as Instagram, You Tube etc. In video game industry, it has become crucial to
develop new games in order to survive in market and achieve competitive benefit easily. Manager
and superiors as well as developers of Ubisoft make assure that appropriate form of patches and
graphics are used on the basis of which it is easy to provide good experience to users.

negative behaviour of people due to wrong activities in the game and which can trigger negative
