1 INTRODUCTION
Personal reflection helps a person to know about their strengths and weakness to achieve the
future goals effectively.
It also enables an individual to use their strength effective to perform their academic and
professional practices in a systematic manner.
The aim of this project to develop self-awareness and reflective learning ability addition to
assessing in understanding a personal VIA character strengths

Top five strengths for the VIA strengths survey and which of the domains are they from
The Top five strengths are identified form the survey are creativity, love of learning,
honesty, social intelligence and perseverance.
All these are my strengths which help me to conduct my academic practices effectively.
Domain of creativity is art that helps me to produce innovative things.
Innovation is essential for building competitive nature and continuously coming up with
profitable ideas.
Domain of love of learning is cognitive which allow me to strengthen my knowledge and
mental skills.
Domain of social intelligence is emotional intelligence which helps me to maintain and
understand interpersonal relationships.
Key area of Honesty is positive attitude which is important for a person to develop
discipline, moral integrity, kindness, truthfulness in order to meet personal and career
goals.
Domain of perseverance is courage and never give up attitude as it helps me to complete
most complex task with proper dedication and hard work.
3 Most surprising strength from top five with reason
The most surprising strength which is determined by VIA survey is perseverance.

It is related to complete the task anyhow and it means being dedicated or hardworking to finish
the task, despite obstacles and barriers.
I never knew before about this strength of mine which further helps me to become good manager
and complete the analysis of an organisation with in given time limit.
Early, I easily gave up to various things which I can easily achieve, but recently I performed
various complex tasks during my academic process and complete it with various obstacles on
time. After that, I realised that I can achieve my dream career goals that is management and
decided to stick with it till I achieved.
Recently I use all of my strengths in my academic and personal life such as I use creativity to
solve complex equation of maths. Also, I use honesty and social intelligence to maintain my
relations with team member of assignment, teacher, friends and family member. By these I am
enable to understand their emotion, values, mind-sets and ideas to complete the assignment
easily or meet my social needs.
I use love of learning and perseverance in my academic or professional life where I can develop
my skills, knowledge and understanding related to my career to become successful. These
strengths help me to manage work life balance and save more time for my hobbies and
personality development.
4 Use of top strength differently in future and what might happen if it
overused
I can use my creativity and love of learning strength in future to perform my job role effectively
such as I use creativity to formulate effective strategy to analyse the complex situation in
organisation.
Further, by creativity I can make new policies to solve various management and operations
issues.
Love of learning helps me to develop my skills related to new technology, digital advancement,
models or methods of management.
By using these strengths in different situation I can achieve my career goals and get more
profitable opportunities to grow.
But I overused this strength then I have to deal with various challenges like over knowledge
create confusion among me to use which method to solve issues that leads to delay in work.

There are various challenges to meet academic, personal and career goals such as time, over
thinking, personal issues, change in technology, skilled people with technical competencies and
other. This will create problems and difficulties for me to meet my dream gaols such as
management and organisation analyse.
Perseverance strength of mine assist me to overcome from all these challenges such never give
up attitude and hard work helps me to achieve my goals despite various problems and obstacles.
6 Further information regarding my areas of improvement
The area which need to be improved further for supporting my continuous development
is hope.
This area of improvement out of the VA character strengths results is defined having
positives future expectations.
In addition to this, it is also referred to as believing that a good future can be created
through own hard work.
There needs to be development in this area because I believe that I need to enhance my
overall optimism.
It will help me take new challenges and will also reduce overall stress I face during
undertaking new tasks.
I believe that I will be able to improve my meditation and hope through adoption of
meditation.
Meditation helps individuals to be calmer, and this can facilitate a less emotional
assessment of the situation you're involved in, and consequently increase hope.
I believe that I will be able to use my other strengths such as creativity, love of learning,
honesty, social intelligence and perseverance to adopt meditation in my lifestyle and
improve my hope.
