ANALYSIS
Systems of gender or gender inequality result in violence against women and LGBT
communities
Violence against women happens because of gender inequality. Men feel that they are
more powerful than women physically so that they are unable to suppress them. This has led to
gender inequality. In this people discriminate with women as well as people with LGBT
communities. Lowering down of inequality will result into lowering down of violence against
women. These type of cases are being increased because of misogyny. It is being related to
sexism. Researchers say that extreme sexism can lead to gender inequality. This type of
condition can give rise to rape, sexual harassment and various other forms of sexual violence.
Gender discrimination can give rise to sexism and in this the discrimination happens with people
because of their gender identity. This type of biasness can be faced by women in workplace and
also it has been evaluated that people from LGBT community can also go through discrimination
where they are not provided with equal chances. The discrimination with LGBT community is
also been done because of transphobia (Elias, Maria Ligia Rodrigues, and Isadora Vier Machado,
20, no. 2 (2018): 115-130). In this people have negative feelings towards people of this
community and because of which they are facing gender inequality. In this there are fear of
hatred and anger against these types of people. This is the main reason that people from LGBT
communities are facing discrimination. In this there are no equal opportunities which are been
provided to them. It has also been analysed that child victim of transphobia can go through
various type of harassment including sexual and emotional. They can also be bullied in
workplace and even in institutions. Besides the increased risk of violence and other threats, the
stress created by transphobia can cause negative emotional consequences which may lead to
substance abuse. In order to overcome these situations there must be adequate laws which needs
to be implemented by government so that protection is been given to these type of people. There

must be social acceptance for LGBT community’s people and also about their social identity.
This can lead to providing these people with equal opportunities so that they can also live freely
in society and also without facing any kind of discrimination. It has also been analysed that
culture of rape is also been linked to gender inequality. Sexual aggression of men against women
creates a situation of gender inequality. In this women go through lots of discrimination and also
there are chances that no one fights against their rights.
Rape culture is an environment where rape is prevalent and in this sexual violence against
women is been normalized. There is been a huge link between gender inequality and sexual
abuse. It has been analysed that so many women every year becomes victim of this situation. In
this there are also chances that some of the women are even not aware about their rights and they
even may not be involved in carrying out legal proceedings (Coston, Bethany,
0886260517726415). Gender identity is also often view as sexual orientation to most people and
also the most of people in general public. It has also been analysed that gender inequality is also
being faced because of homophobia. In this the bisexual; and gay people have irrational fear and
it increases violence against them and prejudice. In this the people who are gay and bisexual can
face lots of discrimination and even they may not be provided with equal opportunities in
workplace. All these discriminations can lower down confidence level of these people. It has also
been evaluated that gender inequality can also lay impact on mental and physical well being of
these people and also they can suffer because of it. Gender inequality is being faced mostly by
the developing nations. In this the chances of life are also not being provided to women and
people from LGBT communities (Willie, Tiara and Trace Kershaw, 118 (2019): 257-263). It has
also been analysed that these people are always becoming the victim of any type of abuse and
also they are not being given with equal opportunities.
They might face all forms of abuse that is sexual, physical and emotional. It has also been
analysed that in this there are also increased risk of violence and also they might face other type
of discrimination. It has also been analysed that gender inequality exists in country because of no
better education been given to men. This increases chances of women to face gender inequality.
It has also been analysed that this also exists because of having aggression towards certain type
of people. It has also been evaluated that proper policies rules and regulations must be made in
order to save certain type of people such as women and LGBT communities. It has also been
evaluated that the development of Hegemonic masculinity identifies how gender power operates

at multiple levels. In this it has been analysed that most of the power is been given to men, in this
better opportunities are also being provided to them (Steele, Linda UNSWLJ 39 (2016): 1002).
This has assisted in giving them with more power and also because of this low power is been
given to women. This has led to increase in harassment with women and people also with people
of LGBT community. This has also led to increase in crime against women. There is been a huge
link between gender inequality and sexual abuse. It has also been analysed that this is increasing
cases of abuse against women.
CONCLUSION

faced by women and also by people from LGBT community. Rape culture is an environment
where rape is prevalent and in this sexual violence against women is been normalized. There is

because of this culture crime against women is been increasing and because of this they are also
not been able to live their life fully. It has also been evaluated that sexual aggression of men
against women creates a situation of gender inequality. It has been evaluated for research that in
this women go through lots of discrimination and also there are chances that no one fights
against their rights. This has led to women facing abuse and also because of this they are also not
been able to live freely. It has also been analysed that gender inequality must be lowered by
implementing proper guidelines and policies. This has assisted in making sure that women and
people from LGBT communities to live freely. It has also been evaluated that better education
must also be provided to men so that no such crime happens.
