Background of the study
Virtual learning environment is the technology used for the web based education for the
students. This is the platform mainly used for the educational institutions to provide a systematic
education through computers and laptops. It is the platform where all the structure of the course,
activities, interaction are involved at one place. VLE is very useful resource for the teachers as
well as for the students, it is the platform which is used by almost all the education systems
whether it is secondary education or higher education institutions (Li and Yu, 2020.). It is the
learning systems which is done by computer so it is also referred as e-learning and learning
management system. Basically virtual learning environment is the learning platform which have
web based applications that gives teachers, students and parents all the information related to the
education.
This web based platform gives access to all the e-mails, texts, video conferencing,
assessments, and the tools for tracking.
