Digital Skills: VLE Impact on Student Learning at University of Wales

This report investigates the impact of Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) on the learning experiences of students at the University of Wales. The research includes a literature review, a detailed methodology outlining data collection through a survey of 20 students, and a comprehensive analysis of primary data, including gender, age, experience with VLE, and opinions on its utilization and accessibility. The analysis reveals student perceptions on the benefits and drawbacks of VLE, its accessibility, and its potential to replace traditional learning methods. Secondary data analysis supports the findings, highlighting both the positive aspects of VLE, such as increased accessibility, and potential negative aspects, such as reduced face-to-face interaction. The conclusion recommends further research with a larger sample size and a broader literature review to gain a more comprehensive understanding of VLE's impact on student learning at the University of Wales.
