AI Summary
This report investigates the effects of virtual learning environments (VLEs) on student development and the learning process. It begins with an introduction outlining the rationale and objectives of the study, focusing on how VLEs, which leverage educational technology, influence digital aspects of study and assessment. A literature review explores the concept of virtual learning, its benefits, and the importance of effective information analysis and knowledge transition within these environments. The methodology section details the research approach, including primary data collection through online surveys and secondary data analysis of existing resources. The report presents and interprets survey results, illustrating student perspectives on digital skills development, workplace performance, and the effectiveness of virtual learning. Based on the analysis, the report offers recommendations for enhancing VLEs and improving student outcomes, concluding with a summary of key findings and suggestions for future research and implementation.

Research title: “To evaluate the effect of the virtual learning environment on
the student development and learning process”
INTRODUCTION
Virtual learning environment is related to the way in which educational technology is
used in a web based platform to analyse the different digital aspects of study that is part of
educational institutions. It present resources, interactions and activities of a course structure that
is used in different stages of assessment (Bogusevschi, Muntean and Muntean, 2020). It is based
on a educational technology that is applied on a web based platform for the digital aspects of the
study courses that is part of educational institutions. It is used for analysing the interaction of a
course structure and provide for different assessment stages. Present report is based on
evaluation of the way digital learning environment is affecting the student learning and
development process in the present changing situation of external environment there is
application of both secondary and primary sources for the purpose of collecting the require
information.
Rationale:
The present research report is based on the background of different digital aspects that is
part of the different course structures and is reflecting the assessment stages. The digital learning
environment is part of the process of student development that is changing according to the
present situation of macro environment (Annansingh, 2019). There is analysing of the overall
concept of virtual learning and the way it can assist in the process of improvement of digital
skills at the workplace.
Objectives:
The objectives of the present research report are mentioned below:
To develop a detailed overview of the concept of virtual learning and improvement of
digital skills at workplace
To analyse the importance of effective analysis of the information and then further
transition of knowledge.
Literature review:
Overview of the concept of virtual learning

According to Michelle Rogers-Estable, 2020 Virtual learning environment is basically
develop to enhance the process of learning with a blend of technology and different approaches
for the purpose of improving student retention, motivation and engagement. It is defined as the
learning function that can effectively take place in the absence of traditional classroom
environment (Cohen and Sasson, 2016). The transition takes place with a online method of
creation of a suitable learning environment for students according to the relationship and
requirement. There are some of the aspects that are part of the virtual learning environment such
as there is social presence as instructor is creating a learning community so that each studenty
can express their online personality and feel welcome to share questions or ask for help. There is
cognitive presence where students are free to construct meaning by discussions and the
community of inquiry and other element is the teaching presence that is students may need a
experts guidance where the online teaching may require students to be more autonomous and feel
that instructor is there to answer all the questions, guide for discussions, manage the virtual
learning classrooms and then push the overall learning environment for benefit of students
(Vuopala, Hyvönen and Järvelä, 2016).
In the virtual learning environment the most vital aspects is to facilitate the process of
high quality of learning with a facilitation, design and direction of social process and cognitive
process to realize the personal meaning and education worthwhile for better learning outcomes.
There are basically three roles that are part of the overall teaching process such as instructors
presence is necessary for direct communication, facilitation of discussion, providing them with
feedback, addressing of individuals and then their overall encouragement process in the course of
final delivery of learning outcomes (Maaliw and Ballera,, 2017).
Importance of effective analysis of the information and then further transition of
knowledge.
According to Paulo Alves , Luísa Miranda, Carlos Morais, 2017 Virtual learning environment is
associated with the concept of formal learning with the development of relationship between
teachers and students. This concept can be consider as a dynamic concept as it is because of the
continuous evolution that is taking place between digital technologies and its associated features.
With the outbreak of COVID 19 there has been a complete transformation in the way when all
the teaching process have started to take place across such digital platforms. Educational systems

across web are used to increase the number of schools, colleges, universities to incorporate the
web technology in their courses to complement with the traditional face to face courses (Chua
and Chua, 2017).
Virtual learning environment has lead to creation of a higher relevance for promotion of the
formal education for educational for the perspective of innovation and change. Virtual learning
environment is playing a paramount roles in the process of supporting the learning in both
informal and formal context. It is a concept that is implying of the requirement of change and
reactivation for doing something new (Gunawan, Prisca Kalensun and Nurul Fajar, 2018).
There is a need to identify the student risk of academic failure at early stages so that there can be
a enabling of a proactive approach towards proper implementation of strategies to achieve high
teaching quality in the learning process of students.
Methodology:
Research methodology:
Research methodology is a the collection of specific techniques that are adopted for the
purpose of identifying and then selection of the process to analyse the overall information that is
part of analysing the overall information (Derboven, , Geerts, and De Grooff, 2017). It is a
section of research report that assist the readers in evaluation of the method that has been
selected for the purpose of achievement of laid objectives. In present research report there is
application of both the primary and secondary sources of data in order to evaluate it further to
reach to some of the logical conclusion and draw recommendations (Peterson-Ahmad,
Pemberton and Hovey, 2018).
Primary Data Analysis:
In the primary data analysis there is collection of the first hand information according to
the target segment of audiences to evaluate the process of analysing the available information
and the virtual learning environment. The present COVID outbreak has resulted into no face to
face interviews there s only selection of online method for the purpose of conducting of the
surveys and the collection of primary sources of information. There is a present base of 20 that
has been used in this research report.

Secondary data analysis
Secondary data analysis is a method that consist of analysing the already existing
information as in this method there is no collection of any first hand information (Ryan and
Poole, 2019). It is a method where the information is available in different websites, online
sources, journals that is used according to the set research objectives which is further analysed to
reach to specific conclusions.
Primary Data Analysis:
1) Do you believe that development of digital skills assist in the
process of better performance at workplace?

Recommendation
From the above made analysis it can be said that digital skills & research methods are
used at different aspects of the process of learning and development of individuals that is
assisting them in different stages of learning process. According to above made analysis there are
some of the recommendations that are drawn as mentioned below:
It can be suggested that virtual learning environment is assisting in the process of overall
development of the way there can be different monitoring & controlling techniques that
can be further adopted to to ensure that there is learning and evaluation is taking place
simultaneously.
The process of digital skills transformation can lead towards enhancement in the overall
performance of individuals and there is further use of skill development that can take
place in the changing virtual learning environment.
Colleges can focus on techniques of e learning as a approach better than the traditional
learning so that student are able to cope up with the fats changing macro environment.
Document Page
Conclusion
It can be conclude that e learning or the virtual learning is a very crucial aspect that is par
of the way organisation are willing to adapt to the changing external conditions. There has to be
increased focus of organisations and individuals on the way in which there can be a impact on
the learning and development process of individuals. The different digital marketing skills are
affecting the process of problem solving and further reaching to Bette solutions in the fast
changing macro environment conditions.
