Task 5: Process Justification
a) For the cloud architecture shown above, there is two cloud attached with the internet.
There is private cloud as well as public cloud. The private cloud is known as enterprise cloud
architecture that will be in ABC University’s intranet and the hosted data center where all the
data is protected behind the firewall. Public cloud means data that there are data that are made
public to all other companies and those data will be accessible by all. In the above diagram, the

data that are connected with the public cloud are universities names, degrees that are to be
provided, assessment details as well as updating the information of the ABC University.
In the private cloud system, the data that are kept to be private are stored with security.
The assessment details of the student are also kept stored in the private cloud. The details of the
students, the technical staffs, and the universities are stored secretly and securely in the private
cloud database of the system.
b) Public cloud is the most common way to deploy the cloud computing. So, public cloud
computing is used for the ABC University. The resources of the cloud are operated by is
operated by the third party provider of cloud service. The private cloud is used in the cloud
architecture of ABC University because the service and the infrastructure is to be maintained on
the private network and the software and the hardware are to be included in the company. Private
cloud make easy to customize the resources for meeting specific requirement. Private clouds are
more flexible for the organization for customizing the cloud environment. Private cloud provides
improved security where the resources of the organization are not shared with other organization.
