Dear case officer,
I, Nagendra Kapali, permanent resident of Nepal, temporarily residing in Hobart, Tasmania. I
am passionately motivated towards building my career in Tasmania and staying permanently
here. I am writing this statement of purpose for expressing my interest and enthusiasm in
living permanently here. Therefore, I seek permission from the state growth government of
Tasmania through this nomination for allowing me to stay and work in Tasmania. I consider
that I have numerous valid, lawful and reasonable reasons to support my opinions and also
have faith in the government that if provided chances, I will prove respected towards the
government and state and would like to grasp all the upcoming opportunities for my career.
I came to Australia in 2010 for pursuing my higher education and also to build my career.
Since. Australia is considered as the land of opportunities in various sectors like banking,
airlines, technology, construction, management and many more. I chose to study, work and
settle in Australia because Australia is committed towards its norms, values, culture and
tradition. The land offers many opportunities and welcomes outsiders to be a part of the
culture. The land has good standard of living, a place which speaks English and where the
immigrants like us can feel safe and travel freely.
I am not new to the place, since I completed my studies from Australia and have become very
much familiar to the place. Regarding my qualification details, I completed my Bachelor’s in
Accounting from Kings Own Institute, Sydney. And my Master’s in Business administration
from Holmes Institute Professional year from ECA. I also hold Diploma in two fields namely

Diploma in Accounting from MEGA (Macquarie Education Group Australia) and Diploma in
Leadership and management from Tas College in the year 2019- 2020.
I am living in Australia for more than ten years and have become acquainted with the place. I
have 8 years of working experience and worked as a team member in retail in IGA
supermarket and 2 years working experience as a department manager in the same place. I
have also worked as a junior chef in Aubergine restaurant. Currently, I am working for Hill
Street Grocer IGA in Hobart.
I am really progressing in my career and see many future scope in Tasmania. Tasmania is an
amazing place and offers career opportunities with vibrant lifestyle and excellent
communities. Balancing work and family is easier in the city because it offers lodging at
reasonable prices. I have invested more than ten years in the country acquiring knowledge
and building career. Therefore, I have a strong inducement, to be a successful manager in my
relevant field. I have completed so many courses in leadership and management, therefore,
with these skills with these skills I am confident enough to find a permanent job in Tasmania.
But for this purpose I need to acquire full time working rights from the government, so that I
can entirely concentrate on my career development and move forward in accomplishing my
vision.
I knew from my research that there are ample opportunities in accounting and management
field. There is a high probability for securing job in Tasmania with all my proficiency. Since,
the government of Tasmania is preparing to attract more skilled immigrants who can
contribute towards the development of the state as well as enhancing its economic activities,
therefore, I am looking forward to settle permanently in Tasmania and fulfil my career goals
with a perfect life style and work balance.

I have experienced that people of Tasmania are very friendly and the society is multi-
cultured. Other countries who discriminate immigrants on the basis of colour, status and
more. The city treats everyone equally. Everyone has the freedom to celebrate their own
festival and culture and the state respects every religion. Cities in Tasmania are small as
compared to other cities of Australia and has balanced lifestyle for family and friends and
easy to commute. The people of Tasmania are friendly and welcoming where people of every
culture, religion and nationality lives in harmony and respect each other. Different festivals
are celebrated and everyone is provided space, respect and even asked to share the delight.
The cost of living is another aspect of living in Tasmania. The people of Tasmania lives in
spacious houses with reasonable rents. This will also help me in my savings. Since, I have
lived here for so many years, I have got used to its weather. The weather of Tasmania is very
suitable for me because I am a permanent citizen of Nepal, where the temperature is always
cool around 2 degrees in winter. It is very much identical to my hometown in Nepal. I am
looking forward to have my own apartment in Tasmania because Tasmania is the cheapest
state of Australia.
Thus, considering many factors like food, temperature, safety, education, lifestyle,
community, beauty of the place and career opportunities, I have decided to settle in
Tasmania. Hence, due to all the above reasons, and after living so many years in Hobart, I am
in live with the place. I will be lucky if I get a chance to live permanently here since I am
committed towards this place and have sufficient resources to support myself.
Therefore, it is my kind request to consider my nomination so that I can continue my career
and stay in Tasmania permanently. I also assure you that I will abide all the rules and
regulations of the Tasmanian government and will stay as a part of the multi-cultural society.

Dear Case Officer,
This is to inform you that I am Nagendra Kapali, a permanent resident of
Nepal who came to Australia in the year 2010. It will be my privilege to share my career
planning statement through this declaration to you and the other authorities concerned.
At the very beginning I want to highlight on my educational qualifications which is
obviously one of the most important declarations in my career planning statement. As
mentioned earlier I came to Australia in the year 2010 and undertook a number of educational
courses and degrees that helped me to gain the knowledge on different perspectives of
management. My complete degree in Sydney includes the Diploma in Accounting from
Macquarie Education Group of Australia, Bachelor degree of Accounting from Kings Own
Institute of Sydney and then finally undertaking the Master’s in Business Administration
course from Holmes Institute. Apart from this I also undertook a separate diploma course on
Leadership and Management from TAS College in the year 2019-2020. The diploma course
in Leadership and Management helped me to gain a significant knowledge on the application
and use of leadership principles in the modern day competitive world.
The most important part in my career after arriving in Australia has been my gathered
work experience in these years of temporarily residing in Australia. The experience gathered
from my work experience has helped me to close the gap in between the full time study and
professional employment in Australia. While completing all my educational degrees in

Sydney I had a number of work experiences as well. My first professional work experience
was gathered from working in a retailing shop for a span of 8 years. The name of the retailing
shop where I worked is IGA Supermarket which is one of the largest retailing stores of the
country. For the first 8 years I worked as a team member whereas I was also appointed as the
manager of the production department of Australia for a period of 2 years. My work as a team
member along with the experience of managing a department was a great experience for me
as I was able to apply my theoretical knowledge of management and leadership practically in
the workplace. My work experience is not restricted to just IGA stores but extends to working
in Coles Liquor-land as an assistant for 4 years and as a junior chef in Aubergine Restaurant.
This varied experience from being a team member in a supermarket, to a departmental
manager and then undertaking the culinary duties as a junior chef has proved my multi-
tasking abilities and skills. Currently I am employed in Hill Street grocer IGA in Hobart.
It was my dream to complete my educational degrees in Australia, which I think I
have been successful to. It is now my wish to permanently move to Tasmania to live upto my
dreams. It will be only possible if I am able to implement my years of theoretical and
practical learning experience in Tasmania. I have heard about Tasmania and its beautiful
surroundings, top quality food, temperate climate and a relaxed lifestyle. Such a combination
is something that always attracts people. However, the most important reason for my
selection of Tasmania has been the affordability of Tasmania. I have currently started
working in Hill Street grocer IGA in Hobart which has helped me to gain an immense idea on
Tasmania. Working here has made me quite knowledgeable on the different kinds of the
lifestyle of Tasmania and its work process.
I have personally researched different career based websites as well as the website of
Tasmanian Government where I have discovered the immense advantages of living in
Tasmania. Tasmania offers remarkable and rewarding career opportunities, inspiring lifestyle,

affordable living options, short commute times and also a better wage scale. The remarkable
fact in my personal research has shown the industries that have the best employment
opportunities in Tasmania. This includes Health Care and social assistance, retail industries,
education and training, public administration and safety as well as accommodation and food
services. The improvement in the state of economy in the last four years has been a positive
improvement for all the people searching for employment opportunities. I believe the
improvement in the employment opportunities in retail sector, food industry is really a
suitable opportunity for me. My earlier experience in thee industries can really help me to
contribute in the growth and development of Tasmania. My theoretical knowledge on
management and leadership can also help me to use this knowledge practically.
I am pretty much aware of the different changes in Fair Work Australia where I need
to earn a minimum of $53900 taxable income for at least 3 to 5 years visa duration. This time
period and minimum payment is needed to ensure my secured permanent residency and get it
through the application of the subclass 191. I believe that this is a challenge for me which can
act as the largest opportunity for me. As per my research on Tasmanian Visa regulations, I
have seen that the average salary for an operations manager in Hobart is $75000 which is
more than the minimum taxable income of $53900. This makes me stand in a good position
for getting the visa. On the other hand, I have been a responsible person during my stay in
Australia and also equally responsible during my tenure in the different Australian
companies. In addition to these, my studies and my educational qualification states my
experience and qualification in the field of getting the visa.
I believe that I would be able to secure a career in the field for which I need to spend a
decade to gain a strong knowledge and meet the required levels of income threshold to secure
my permanent residency in Australia. It is my sincere request to you to kindly consider my

be supported by Tasmanian Government for Skilled Provisional Visa.
