5

Responsible tourism : This theory says creating better places and destination so that more and
more tourist are attracted. This is a work of responsibility where government, hoteliers, operators
and tourists are responsible to take any action for a sustainable tourism development. It clears
about making better places for people where they reside and creating places for tourists. It is
totally different concept and is not at all similar to sustainable tourism as it emphasizes on the

business, governments and other people (Del Chiappa, Andreu and Gallarza, 2014). This theory is
way of motivating tourists in an outstanding way.
Maslow Need Hierarchy Theory: This theory was explained by Abraham Maslow which
explained five factors of motivating an individual. A traveler must know whether its needs will
get satisfied or not. Then only he or she should make the planning for any kind of tour. Travelors
must identify their basic needs like motels, guest house, hotels, restaurants etc. and should search
for social need before hand.
