2.3 Effect of different theories in managing visitors attraction.
On the basis of above discussion various effects are analysed of tourism attraction. For
this various theories are available for reducing their impact. In this process two theories are
mostly considered. The Goodwin theory developed in 1998 and another is Voase theory 2002.
with the help of these theories they are able to analyse tourism theories effectively. In this
theories various strategies are provided thorough which impact on environment can be reduced
and profitability can be increased. Through this strategy organisations are able to manage waste
effectively, conserve natural resources (Pechlaner and et. al., 2014). Along with this they are
considering demands and requirement of customers. With the help of this theories they are able
to make significant impact on the economical, social and environmental factors. For instance,
UK is provided with large variety of national and biological parks, in which huge and diversified
communities of species can be identified. With the help of these theories, they are able to attract
visitors for visiting such places. For this various promotional program and campaigns are being
organised by the organisations as well as government agencies. It helps in motivating visitors for
visiting these tourist destinations (Quadri-Felitti and Fiore, 2016). On the other hand the another
concept is based on the customers. In this theory visitors are engaged through their personal
activities. This is considered as one of the advance and latest approach. Through these steps
tourism development can be implemented sustainability. It provides various opportunities for
implementing new technologies in order to enhance performance of the system (Raj, Griffin and
Blackwell, 2015).
On the basis of these theories impact of tourism industries can be handled effectively.
Along with this it helps in increasing effectiveness of these process (Reinhold, Laesser and
Beritelli, 2015). Through this step organisations are able to motivate visitors for visiting places.
Along with this enhances the strategies. It helps in reducing harmful impact on environment such
as noise, water and air pollution.
