The prime determination of this report is to focus on the current communication plan
of a consulting company as a project manager. The report will be evaluating the current
communication plan with the future communication plan [3]. The competency between the
future and the current communication plan of this consultancy is maintained in such a way so
that the proposed plan can be effectively implementing in the consulting company [4]. The
justification of the recommendation is also stated in a professional way in the later units of
the report.
Current project communication plan:
The current project communication plan which is being used in this consultancy has a
significant number of limitations which has been identified, this unit of the report will be
focussing on the current plan [2]. The tracking system which is integrated into the
information system of the consulting company have few issues which are having a negative
impact on the effectiveness of the existing information systems. The information system
cannot be updated as the business situations are changing every time, the updated public
health data plan is not properly utilised in the information systems [5]. The drawbacks of the
data are also a considered as a problem of the information system. There are compatibility
issues between the state database and the database of the County Health Department. There
are privacy issues also associated with the integrated tracking systems. The communication
management issue is also a point of concern for this consulting organisation.
There are two dedicated IT engineers associated with this project and an
epidemiologist who oversees the project [6]. The information requirement along with the
business processes and the relationship between the different types of internal and external
stakeholder are maintained by the employees involved in this project. The team members are
