Vitaherb is an Australian distribution and manufacturing company that has attained high
growth success in national health company. The company owns its head office and all

facilities of manufacturing in all its other premises. The company sources its raw material
from highest quality organic and all the fair sources and has big reputation in the market. The
company is dealing and selling its products through websites, supermarkets and pharmacists.
Reliability of the product is the main concern regarding the quality of the product. The
company has strong ranges of valuable groups that deal in research bodies of the government.
The products are highly herbal in nature and do not affect the body when they are consumed
(Vitaherb, 2019). The report tells about the concept of creating the design of the
organisational with the Vitaherb business model. In research, the access of valuable
resources, process which they followed, location and how these process are being controlled.
Organisational Design
Organisation design is a step of planning that identifies the dysfunctional behaviour of work
flow, aligns them to set in current business scenario and set of procedures. The main work
can be set by need to improve the delivery of the service or theory of the organisation in
specific business. Vitaherb is a national health company that create customer by providing
healthy minerals, body care products and nutritional supplements with fair prices. When
designing and organisation structure, the major targets can be achieved by proving excellent
services, increased profitability, reducing operating costs, efficiency improvements, clear
strategy to grow, settled targets, culture of committed and engaged employees in the process
(ALLEN, 2019).
Procurement of Resources
In every business, weather it may be small or big the first step goes with procuring all the
resources which company needs to grow its market share. Herbal company also wants
material to be used for making their final products and proper checking is to be done of those.
It comprises of generation of ideas in the business that should be in accordance with recent
competitors. Creation of business plan and that should be well written to provide with
benchmarks, so one can check the progress throughout the year. In every year, these are to be
formulated for the new implementation strategies in the business. The structure should clarify
the proposals of business that it is run on the sole proprietorship, partnerships or with
incorporation of others. The four types of organizational resources which are needed for any
organization as:-
Human Resources ā€“ Human resources is a function of management department who
manages all the upcoming challenges in the organisation. HR differentiates the practices and
does screening of the most wanted resources in any company. Employee motivation achieves
by medical allowances, bonus and good remunerations. A mutual relationship between the
employer and all the employees translates into better performances. It comprises of attracting,
developing and supporting staff, foster employee loyalty and monitor for employee burnouts.
They plan the system and implemented through various strategies that are needed to align the
workforce (Dessler, 2019).
Time Resources ā€“ These are most important resources to equip and it has infinite resources.
If it is not properly managed in the organisation, there will be various negative outcomes with

this. The management of time in any organisation is most important factor for procurement of
resources. The culture of an organisation has direct effect on productivity of the employees
and it should be properly managed for managing in positive culture.
Effective management of Assets ā€“ This contributes to performance of the organisation and
assets are the real possible outcomes. The efficiency of the organisation will results in
maximum output by ensuring that all the assets are catered properly for services and patents
in the intellectual property. Management software can be developed for the research work
and easy implementation of services can be provided to concern authorities (Scheduler,
2013).
Financial resources ā€“ There is a proper plan of managing its financial resources. Financial
resources has various attributes that comes along with planning of funds arrangements,
identify funding gaps and costs are tracked and then its goes to documentation. With this, the
focus of company is to assign the resources for their resilience activities and all the rest can
be invested to improve revenue of the organisation. The capacity of how much to invest, from
where and how much fund is needed are to be planned by conducting meetings in and
company.
Process of Organisation
ļ‚· The process of the organisation starts with various functions as planning, organizing,
and leading, controlling then directing all the plans which are being formulated. A
manager engages in planning when they have to develop the goals and strategies,
objectives for an organisation. The planning process with strategies defines the
mission, vision, what are the strong and weak points and this also called as SWOT
analysis. This should be specific, measurable, and realistic and time constraints are
also there (Dryburgh, 2013).
ļ‚· Organizing is the second step where arrangements of resources is the valuable
outcome and to organize effectively there are managers who perform the activities
and equip employee needs to compete those activities. The function involves
resources in best possible ways to attain goals and targets of the company. The
arrangements of various products that are most effective are to be organised for
proceeding further (Satyendra, 2015).
ļ‚· Leading is a process of motivating and influencing by the personality to work like that
and effectively accomplish targets and common goals. All managers have to be
effective leaders to be more successful and they have the capabilities of manage
everything. There are various types of leadership to be chosen as autocratic,
democratic and laissez faire leadership in an organisation. Vitaherb uses democratic
style of leadership and contributes in leading functions to participate more in the
process (Kellerman, 2008).
ļ‚· Controlling is a management function that able to control its financial and natural
resources and track toward previously established goals. There is a use of control
cycle as establishment of performance standards, initiate activities, measure the

These are the various steps which are to be taken in mind when there is designing of the
organization structure in herbal and nutrition company. There is implementation of the
procedural steps to be followed and women are the creator of more powers in Vitaherb as
more than half of the employees in this company are womenā€™s. They provide various
schemes as to people in the workplace as profit share scheme and flexibility of work
environments. When all the steps are followed in continuous terms then there is an
achievement of targets by leading in the company environments.
Location of Organization
Choosing of the location is a complex decision which is taken by company owners and top
level hierarchy, the establishment of external environment is to be examined carefully, factors
as land, taxes, living standards, constructions, transportations and business partners are the
major places and persons who has involved in this. There should be support from local
communities and how they think of the company products and what will be the market share
in these communities and who are the competitors are to be noted carefully. The role of
governments is also there when there is research and development groups are to be presented
at these stages. They have good communications with the Government Therapeutic Goods
Administrations that ensures their products are rigorous safe and the major role is with
quality of the products. The selection of site where company will took it place, managers
turns their most attention to layout of the facility with arrangements of work centres.
Materials, supportive departments and equipment need to be constructed with all the goods
and service (T.T. & T., 2019).
A well-designed facility always helps the company to grow and operates by reducing wasted
materials and time. Smart layout supports more collaboration with the employees and
communications with the role of getting exact locations of the places they want. Delivery of
services in the most layouts of facilities is a major influence on satisfactions of the customers.
The perfect location can be access by stakeholders review and demand of the customers in
the market.
Controllable Factors
From designing an organization there is research and study to be conducted. The controllable
factors are occurrence of its internal and external environments it starts with setting of
strategic goals, establishments of the performances that will surely tell about managers and
all the employees whether the company is on right track to achieve those targets. As the
Vitaherb company goes about the main business where performance is measured with the
way and compares against the standards. If the performance standards are below the practices
which are structured, management needs to take further steps to overall performance that can
improve the consequences. A common approach to set all the standard is benchmarking and
this relates with comparing key performances attributes through different industry leaders.
Balance score card approaches can be used for controlling factors of the organisation to be
controlled (Shah, 2013).

Management Structure
The company organisation structure should be so clear that it should be easily understood by
managers as well as employees in the organization. It comprises of the complete structure of
the organisation where there roles and responsibilities are mentioned and there is concept of
company hierarchy system. The authorities from top level management has their different
roles to be play in the structure of the organization. Whereas the functions from all the
departments may vary like managers plan their team with planning, organising, and directing.
The general manager and supervisor investigate the research and development area of the
company.

implementing different theories of management and analysis on the basis of company should
follow this structure for sustaining for long time in the country worldwide.
