1.0 INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT SCOPE
Vancouver Island University has organized MBA games for which a project proposal has to be
developed for selecting a Contractor (Nicholas & Steyn, 2017). The Contractor will then be
assigned to develop an innovative program for its evaluation for ascertaining success of the
project. The success parameters for the assigned project will encompass an evaluative framework
tool (Saenz & Cano, 2009). A survey question is developed for ascertaining success of the said
proposal by collecting answers from participants.
2.0 PRICING OF THE PROJECT
Pricing for any project encompasses a critical component that needs to be developed at the
project initiation. It encompasses prices for major resources that will be exhausted at the time of
the event, prior and post also (Larson et al., 2014). Materials and facilities along with break-
down of resource time, hourly rates with an outline of complete expenses have to be developed.
Below is a schedule of estimated expenses for the project that will take place. The project will
require space to be hired, material to be purchased and man-hours to be spent such that the
event is staged well. A team of employees will be designated at the project such that the entire
event is conducted in an appropriate manner. There has to be appropriate advertisement selected
traditional as well as social media advertisement methods such that substantial number of
participants and people can take part in the event. As it is a games event, there will be scopes to
earn revenue as well from sports company advertisements and stalls that are put up. These will
act as input costs whereas expenditures will be cost spend to set up the event.
