INTRODUCTION
The employability skills assist individual to perform daily role and responsibilities within
an organisation with high efficiency. It includes number of quality such as the communication,
time management, problem solving and leadership skills. It plays vital role to accomplish short
term and long term vision of company (Houston, 2005). Effective quality of individual aid to
increase efficiency to contribute in organisational success. The present report is based on
employability skills of Vodafone which is the leading telecommunication company in United
Kingdom it operating business functions approx 150 different nations worldwide. Corporation
holding top market position in mobile industry. Enterprise provides several services such as the
voice call and high speed interest like 4G. The purpose of report is to enhance moral of
employees by adopted effective leadership and interpersonal skills to achieve business goals. To
motivate workers manager can use these various method and tools to increase their overall
productivity along with their development through create interest toward duties in company.
TASK 1
1.1 Own responsibilities and
performance objectives
To achieving goals and objective of company the role of individual is crucial. Workers
moral should be high to perform their duties to increase productivity of organisation. As the HR
coordinator it is my primary responsibility to review the performance of staff members along
with identify vacant vacancy in company and design a plan to fill those empty post by follow the
recruitment and selection process to appoint suitable candidates on specific job profile (Cassidy,
2006). It is systematic mechanism which adopted by all business organisation to hire capable
person to accomplish goals of company. Other major duty of mine is to motivate employees
through recognise them for their achievement within enterprise. To increase moral of workers
monetary and monetary rewards can be used. Bonus, incentives, profit sharing are included in
financial accolade while job security, work-flexibility, challenging in responsibilities and
recognition known as the non-financial reward . Provide training program to staff member to

enhance overall productivity is another duties of HR coordinator. It helps to motivate them
which assist to increase efficiency as well as motivation that is important to perform their role in
effective manner. Human resource management aid to increase workers skills such as the
communication, coordination, presentation and teamwork which contribute in achieving goals
and objective of company. Being HR coordinator it is my role to reduce the conflict among team
members as well as reduce employees turnover which help to sustainable growth of
Vodafone(Singh and Singh,, 2008). Training program assist to improve my own skills such as
the communication, leadership, decision-making and motivator which is beneficial for company
as well as my own development.
1.2 Own effectiveness against defined
objectives
To meet with organisational goals and objective workers skills play vital role. Different
people have their own quality which is differ from other. In the above state scenario there are
number of coordinator who can help to meet standard level of performance. Effective
communication skills helps to resolve the conflict by find out major barriers of dispute among
organisational workers. Conversation quality assist to build positive relation between top an
bottom management of Vodafone. Problem solving ability aid to resolve subordinates queries
regarding their job it also helps to allocation of works on the basis of employee ability.
Coordinating skills help to understand employees expectation form their role within organisation
it assists to know what workers want regarding training, work flexibility (Mason, Williams and
Cranmer, 2009). In the present context retain skilled personal is major objective of the Vodafone.
Organisation want to prevent turnover those who have good knowledge to machinery equipments
to reduce the cost of business operations. Technically advance personal plays crucial role to
resolve the customer queries in telecommunication sector. Coordinating skill helps to increase
the satisfaction level of worker through through create cooperative attitude which assist to
enhance motivation of them toward group work it is beneficial for the organisation as well as
subordinate growth. HRM knowledge helps me to keep happy employee that aid in increase
overall productivity of them along with greater efficiency to achieve sustainable growth together
with higher market-share of Vodafone in telecommunication sector through defeating
competition.

1.3 Recommendations for improvement
There are various area in which I need to improvement. The coordination and
communication skills are good which help me to create positive relation with employees along
with reduce their turnover by keeping motivate them toward task within company (Raybould and
Sheedy, 2005). Quality of allocation helps to divide the company work among subordinates on
the basis of their potential and knowledge that assist increase positive work-culture at Vodafone
which help to accomplish the determined goals and objectives with high efficiency. Along with
these skills I need to improvement in decision-making, time management and leadership quality.
To influence employee is crucial to guide them in right way through provide essential
suggestions. Leader role is inspire followers towards assigned task which helps to increase their
productivity. Effective decision making skills assist to determine the objectives according the
situation. For example leader set the target is to increase company's sales by 10 percent in
following 3 months. Pre-knowledge about mission aid motivate workers to put their extra effort
to enhance sales revenue. Time management skills is crucial it is help to recognise time limit for
particular task regarding importance of it. I can use numbers of theories and models to enhance
the above mentioned skills which assist me to achieve goals and objectives of organisation as
well as my own target. Thus proper training program aid in converting weakness into strength
that is beneficial for both company also me.
1.4 Motivational techniques can be used to improve quality of performance
The role of motivation is crucial in each and every business organisation to achieve
sustainable growth by satisfy the need of targeted customers. Highly motivated employees
perform their role with greater productivity also efficiency. In the present context moral of
worker is important to Vodafone for fulfil demand of customer in competitive market. Positive
attitude assist to create healthy work-culture within company (Wilton, 2011). To encourage staff
members manager of organisation can use financial and non-financial reward system. Provide
incentive, bonus as reward to team or particular employee aid in create positive competition
among them. They will motivate toward their task to gain own development. Highly motivated
employee assist to business manager to manage company activities with superior grip. They
provide essential suggestion to him how team can perform better by using specific technique in
daily routine operations of company. Hygiene and Maslow's need theories aid in increase moral
of workers toward assigned task within enterprise. In the above stated scenario positive thinking

For example high moral of marketing executive helps to making better promotional strategy
through own experience by interaction with customers.

2.1 Solution to work based solution
The role of manager is important to develop appropriate plan to overcome on adverse
situation. It is the duty of business officer to take initiative step to identified the problem of the
company also make effective plan to remove it to achieve short and long term mission of
organisation (Wickramasinghe and Perera, 2010). In the above context many issues are affecting
corporation operations to satisfy the demand of customer. The major problem is lack of skilled
employees at there. Inadequate human resource direct impact on growth and market-share of
company. To solve worker shortage obstacle manager need use recruitment and selection
program to appoint suitable candidates to fill vacant post in firm. Provides training program to
develop skills for specific role to enhance their performance to achieve organisational target. As
HR coordinate it is essential to identified those employees who require development program to
perform their duties with high efficiency. Proper training helps to increase the potential of new
employees along with they can coordinate to other staff member which assist to meet business
goals and objectives of Vodafone.
2.2 Communication varieties
Communication play vital role in success of each and every business organisation. It is
process in which two people share their own view or opinion to create mutual understanding to
fulfil specific purpose (Williams, 2005). In the above scenario of employees relation is direct
relate with communication. There are number of types of information flow process that are
described as per under;
Oral communication: It is form in which sender and receiver exchange of information by word
mouth. It provides quick response from receiver.
Written communication: Conversation in written from.
Gesture communication: Exchange information through body sign.

Time management is important in accomplish the target of company. It provides essential
information to manage the work of organisation and also assist to fulfil the demand of customers.

focus on the importance of task to fulfil within deadline by optimum utilisation of company
resources. Manager of firm can increase the efficiency workers towards the task along with he
can maintain balance between demand of service from customer side. Thus business officer can
use the above model to enhance the productivity empolyees by provides deadline for their duties
at workplace (Rosenberg, Heimler and Morote, 2012).
