Introduction
The report is prepared so that the concept of sustainability practices and principles can be
explained. This report is prepared in regards to the company Vodafone and its sustainable
business. The sustainability compliances of the company and the standards will be stated in this
report. In this report, the major focus will be put on the sustainability efficiency practices and the
indicators of strategic sustainability. The company also has some outside-in objective which will
also be illustrated in this report. The are many factors which lead to make the company an ideal
corporation and also many barriers which affect the local and the global environment so this will
also be stated in this report (Kresak, et al., 2016).
Vodafone is the public limited company which was founded in the year 1991 and gives the
telecommunication services. The company was founded by Ernest Harrison which provides the
telecommunication services worldwide. The registered office of the company is in England and
the head office is in London. The Vodafone Company provides many products to its customers
such as mobile phone, broadband, fixed-line telephone, internet television, digital television, etc.
The company has the network in the 25 countries and they provide the IT services and the
telecommunication services to their customers (Kwenin, et al., 2013).
Vision/mission/core purpose of the company
The main purpose of the Vodafone Company is to serve the telecommunication and IT services
globally and to lead the business market. The main aim of the company is to satisfy their
customers by giving them the best quality services. The main mission of the company is to
connect the world through telecommunication services and wants to be the leading mobile
company. The vision of the company is to connect the world and to become the communication
leader. The mission of the company is to provide high power of mobile communication so that
they can enrich their customer’s lives. Their mission is also to drive in the wireless world where
the people use the new application of mobile phones and they can easily communicate and
contribute to the decision so the business (Tirnitz, 2017).
