INTRODUCTIONI
Skills are highly required in respect to get the effective processing so that accomplishing
the objective of gaining competitive position can become possible. In the current era, possessing
skills become highly important in turn higher productiveness to meet certain tasks in highly
precise and significant manner can become possible. The current study is based on the portfolio
which is concerned with providing the information regarding the skills audit in turn
accomplishing the objective of identifying the crucial attributes can become possible in order to
get the effective information regarding the strength and weaknesses. The current report will give
information regarding pre-volunteering preparatory tasks to include a skills audit in relation to a
graduate destination and a post-volunteering.
MAIN BODY
The term volunteering is referred to doing of such tasks that are done by an individual
without requirement, on his personal choice. These are those tasks for which there is no
payments are received by the doer of such tasks. Students are often given the opportunities to
work for voluntarily for the tasks that are serves the society (Carter, Knight and Vickers-Hulse,
2021). At the universities students are made to do tasks for preparing them for such activities.
Our university also prepares us with the aim to make us able in preparing for the future.
Graduation destination is the process by which universities prepare their students for their future
journey. It is combination of all such tasks that builds the set of skills in the students that serves
as making them competent for their life journey after they graduate from the university. Such
skills insulted in us by our educational setting helps us in preparing ourselves for any such
situation in the future where will be required to demonstrate are abilities to do volunteer tasks.
Training is highly important for making the projects a success. The hidden element in such
training tasks is that the ensuring of the well- being of the students involved. There are various
criteria on the basis of which the this pre -volunteering preparation tasks are carried out by the
institutes (Hager and Renfro, 2020). Firstly, the preparation criteria are making us to grow are
potential of in building the changes that we want the world should have. This tasks creates the
ability of taking initiatives in the situations where the need for change is analysed. Such situation
maybe from any already running volunteering campaigns in which initiation can be taking a step
towards being a part of such event. Further it can also be in a way of starting a campaign on my

own. Further we are taught that having a clear and good intention is not enough for bring a
change that is needed in the society. A proper research of the events within the society that needs
improvements for the betterment of the society is essential. Hence the skills of taking initiation
and research skills gets improved.
Furthermore, the skills that are developed as a part of pre -volunteering preparatory tasks
includes time management skills. As the doing of volunteer tasks is done at the will of individual
as an act of paying back the society against of numerous things we get from it. Also such tasks
do not involve any receiving of payments it is necessary to manage other things with these
activities. So the tasks, projects or assignment at the university level aims at making the students
to learn the skills of time management (Clark and et.al., 2021). It is great skill for managing all
the tasks. There is greater possibility of individual being emotional with the subject matter
concerned and getting deviated from the real call of the time so the other skill that is developed
by the educational setting is the skill to maintain a realistic outlook for looking at the situation.
Students are well -trained for the purpose of making them listen to their superior of the volunteer
program. So the skills of effective listening get developed or enhanced (Woo and Bang, 2022).
Volunteering skills that were learnt by me through these pre –volunteering preparatory tasks
would be of great help in facilitating the process of graduate destination.
For the purpose of auditing the skills that are developed in me by the pre -volunteering
preparatory tasks swot analysis framework will be applied (Personal SWOT Analysis, 2022).
Swot analysis is a framework that is used by individual persons to analyse their personal
strengths and weakness that act as plus points towards grabbing the opportunities that exist in the
external environment and creates threat from having a successful career.
Strengths:
There are various skills that I developed in myself because of being a part of pre -
voluntary task preparations. My initiative skills developed to a great extent that serves as a plus
point for my future. There are certain other skills that gets improved with the improvement of
skill to take initiative, for instance, the related skills that I developed in myself are self-
improvement skills, self –confidence skills and self –motivating skills. This project led the
enhancement of my research skills.
Weakness:

Just like the way pre –volunteering preparatory tasks led to development of some skills
there are certain skills that were part of the such tasks but lacks in me. These are the time
management skills. I find it difficult to meet the completion of the tasks in the deadlines that are
set by me. Further the inability to complete tasks in the specified leads to delays in the tasks that
follows the previously completed tasks.
Opportunities:
There are certain opportunities that are identified according to the current market
conditions. Almost all the companies require that the candidates they select possess skills like
taking initiatives, good research skills, and existence of confidence, motivation and leadership
qualities in themselves. The completion of tasks opens up the opportunities of getting employed
at a good position in a well –recognized firms.
Threats:
The threats to graduate destination includes ever increasing level of competition in the
market in relation to securing good position in the future. Further the threats in doing volunteer
works includes getting low pay, consumption of too much of time doing voluntary works leading
to negligence to other works that are also essential for career growth and development.
In my opinion, there are distinct types of the skills which are required to be taken into the
considered in order to gain the effective performance so that proper graduate designation in
respect to gain the corrective career development can become possible. There are different skills
which are required in order to get the effective processing as volunteer can become possible. . On
the basis of this, it can be articulated that there are various competitive requirements which are
required to be fulfilled by volunteer that can become possible effectively due to the effective
skill audit. The main reason behind this is that it helps in accomplishing the various insights that
promote capabilities to uplift its overall working scenarios.
From the skills audit it can be mentioned that time, team management and effective
problem solving approach appraises graduate destination according to me (Khasanzyanova,
2017s). This is basically one of the significant process which helps in gaining the information
regarding completing the particular tasks. On the basis of the skill audit it can be specified that it
is helpful in accomplishing the objective of enhancing performance via using the strengthening
areas in turn competitive position can be derived. There are varied pattern of lacking areas which

is required to be taken into the processing that can negatively impact so that taking crucial
actions to ensure that irrelevant aspects can be avoided to get post-volunteering actions
effectively. On the basis of this, I can interpret that in order to get the precise career, graduate
destination is one of the crucial process. The main reason behind this is that it is basically
associated with accomplishing the post volunteering benefits such as properly establishing
coordination with team members so that effective working to get accurate and fair results. This
has allowed achieving reliable outcomes as helps in conducting the related tasks in precise
pattern.
In the pre volunteering procedure the emphasis is provided on achieving the competitive
position via ensuring that require set of skills is developed that can help in achieving overall
growth as volunteer. In relation to graduate destination and post volunteering, the set of attributes
such as research, initiation, time management, etc aid in grabbing the varied opportunities
through focusing on goal of helping others (Hassan, 2022). Strong work ethic is basically
associated with ensuring that optimum utilization of the resources without thinking of personal
benefits which is focused by me in throughout the volunteering experience. On the basis of this it
can be mentioned that there are varied responsibilities are required to be full fulling in such as
pattern to make sure that which step is needed that become possible due to the development of
initiative skill. This is beneficial in gaining right form of the results in turn good performance to
get higher success in graduate destination.
There are various skills which are developed as compared to pre volunteering in the
process of post volunteering that helps in accomplishing the objective of effective time
management to deliver the desirable results with compliance with deadline (Dempsey-Brench,
and Shantz, 2021). I came to know that in my volunteering experience which has helped me to
get the significant processing by eliminating lacking areas such as lack of politeness, etc that has
adversely hampered my overall performance. In post volunteering process in which concise
utilization of the skills to get proper performance to get the significant action of higher
effectiveness can become possible. I came to know that there are different requirements of the
particular skills in turn effectual accomplishing the tasks given to me in the proper manner. In
respect to have higher productiveness in post volunteering that is associated with achieving
competencies that can uplift the overall performance that has made my experience positive.

The skills which has permitted me to ensure that accuracy and fairness in my all the
mentioned tasks can be done as it has developed effective communication skill. This has
contributed in achieving proper delegation of activities to have effectual pattern for solving
problem in turn proper sense of competitive performance to bring greater outcomes that can help
in coordination to meet the objectives to get the corrective results. There are various aspects
which can help in gaining proper performance to bring greater results to make sure that good
pattern of student destination that can allow making proper compliance with prevailing trends in
market (Shantz and Dempsey-Brench, 2021.). On the basis of this it can be interpreted that I
have become possible to meet my targets that are given to me in respect to have higher desirable
performance that has made my experience so good. This can further contribute to have better
performance that has assisted to eliminate the irrelevant aspects that can help in eliminating
negative impact on the results of me as conducting volunteering practices.
On the basis of this, it can say that skill audit has helped me to ensure that good form of
performance with help of strengthening parts. It has permitted me to make sure that all the
prevailing lacking areas that can negatively influence my performance can be eliminated via
taking reliable actions to have higher outcomes. This has made my overall experience positive
that is helpful for achieving better journey as students which is helpful for career development.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of the above reflective writing portfolio the concept of volunteering has been
made clear. The above portfolio has included the tasks that are done for the preparation of
volunteering among the students. A skill audit has been done in the report for appraising the
skills in the relation of graduate destination. The report further describes the meaning of graduate
destination and its relative importance. In the lives of students. The portfolio includes a reflective
account of post volunteering experience.
