Volunteering in tourism

Volunteering is defined to interact with the group to make it best area. It is an act of
members or group of individuals which provides time as well as workers for services. Most of
volunteer educate in the place where individuals perform their activities. For example, education,
pharmaceuticals and natural disaster. Volunteer is important because they boost the knowledge
and skills related to social, increase network to connect and communicate with new person.
Volunteering in tourism identified that it improves the ability of persons and provide new
facilities for the tourists to guide and meet the demand of food and crafts to their visitors. This
maximize the self confidence as well as esteem and satisfactions of work experiences in society
to help others to develop social skills (Alony and et.al., 2020). In this report volunteering tourism
is considered. Volunteering tourism refers to a travel which is essential in today's society and it is
fast growing in the country. It is the volunteer tourism when people travel from one place to
another such as from abroad to destination places (Downward Hallmann and Rasciute, 2020).
This is important as it contribute to the economy in order to give employment opportunities to
the workers in the marketplace. Volunteering in tourism is the great way for the travel work
experiences. This focus on international volunteer tourism which provide services to meet the
requirement of specific market segments. Volunteering tourism is popular to explore to travel
destinations. In tourism, animal conversation is expanding because it is essential as this affects
negatively on human tasks in wildlife as well as in nature (Schwarz, 2018). The examples of
volunteering tourism is to explore more destinations to travel during their working ours or with
families.
Voluntourism is in the form of tourism industry which emphases people volunteering
services to a company which is connected to tourism to earn the money from the tourists to their
places (Inversini, Rega and van Zyl, 2019). Volunteer examples includes guider who guide the
places, translators and workers. Best tourism place in United Kingdom is Thailand which is
popular for the destinations which is best travel location for holidays. This is the place for
shopping at floating markets along with the parties in Bangkok. Volunteer tourism have effects
on the volunteers as this gives an opportunity to explore dissimilarity of environmental along
with social, the problems in political that admit the tourists to get the knowledge of places which
they are travelling which lead to problems in personal to the political which impacts positively
on volunteers (Delanoeye, Gorleer and Hustinx, 2021). However, they understands the situation
in local area and acquire personal growth as it view in sympathy. On the other hand, the negative

impact on volunteer to the community and they not actively participate to perform activities in
effective manner. Volunteer tourism has also been argued that the best way of travelling which is
becoming popular across the world. Tourism is the travel where became go for their vacations as
it makes trips to travel from one country to another country as to enjoy the holidays with friends,
families as well as relatives. This helps people to change their behaviour and attitudes for a short
period of time by making plans from outside the home town with the families or friends so that
they change their mood while travelling to other destinations. (Inversini, Rega and van Zyl,
2019)
For example, if a person want to make a trip of going to abroad with their friends as they
check various places to visit. They choose the many destinations such as England, Scotland and
many more places which are attractive and beautiful. Then they decide to select one place to
travel which is Scotland. Scotland is the third northern of the island of Greater Britain. There are
many places to visit such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Skype, Inverness and many more. Tourism is
where individual travel for fun and enjoyment as well as learn different culture, history of
various countries (Holloway and Humphreys, 2019). People enjoy by doing sightseeing,
paragliding and camping in the various places. Tourism is different for all types of ages which
they would like to travel other places. Such as young people like beaches, sunsets, fun nights and
many more. On the other hand, old age people wants to go to visit temples and holiest places to
travel. While visiting any specific places which are linked to particular destination such as
landscape, famous shopping area and oldest architecture that attract people to the places and
experienced a best environment and weather of trip. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism
sectors has impacted badly as the lack of employment and income of tourist places because in
pandemic there are many restriction which is imposed by UK government to travel. Thus, it
reduce the crowd in holidays as well.
The sources of tourism is brochures, media as well as the publication which guides about
the better places to visit for the public. This helps them to attract customers and individual
people to go and enjoy their vacations and business meetings. There are different forms such as
adventure, bicycle, beach, cultural and industrial tourism. Adventure tourism is the activity
which allow individuals go for the comfort place. For example of tourism in United Kingdom is
surfing Sennen cave, tree climbing, scramble striding edge and many more which attract people

to do some adventure activity for their fun. On the other side, Culture tourism is essential part of
Britain's tourism which gives various places to visit to the Britain. However, this gives
attractions for the destination of cultural places. Therefore, there are many types of tourism like
domestic tourism, inbound tourism and outbound tourism. Thus, domestic tourism is for visiting
the areas in own places. On the other hand, inbound tourism signifies that the traveller from
overseas went into the country whereas outbound tourism states that it travel out from the own
country for the objective of tourism. United kingdom is the 10th largest tourist places all over the
world. Volunteering tourism helps them to understand and determine as well as experience the
area which they are visiting. Tourism signifies that people travel and stay outside from their
places for the usual environment for any purpose such as free time, leisure and business purpose
for the month or quarter. This helps to develop the economy revenue, generate employee
opportunities for workers and exchange and view the culture of different countries. The impacts
of Volunteering activities in tourism is the participation and engagement in tourist areas which is
related to issues in community and environmental. On the other hand the challenges in tourism is
not exploring the culture in the tourist places.
