Introduction
The plan for execution of the project related to implementation of SAP HANA is delivered. It
is required to develop a project plan as the plan ascertain the strategic goals linked with the
project are executed in a successful manner. The project manager ascertains that the major
tasks are accomplished by breaking up of the project in a varied form of manageable tasks
and timely accomplishment of the said tasks ascertain the project completion as per the
clients requirements. The project plan for deploying SAP HANA in Yes chemist is developed
which provides the details of the project scope, the business case, the scheduling and the
roll out strategy, the resources, risks and the budget constraint in the project. The plan
further discusses the basic communication activities to be followed to ascertain that the
project team members are communicating the basic needs and the issues to the other team
members. The plan further provides an idea of the significant risks that can affect the
execution approach and the completion of SAP deployment. Since this particular project is
operationally complex, development of a realistic project plan is a necessity. The plan further
identifies the schedule and approach of managing the issues and the risks in a project. The

Defining the project scope is necessary to execute the project in a successful manner. It is

the aim behind execution of this particular project.
Aim: The project aims to plan and deploy the SAP HANA to the pharmacy yes chemist to
ensure elimination of the present operational issues persisting in the pharmacy.

The above table discusses the deliverables considered for successful end of the project and
the acceptable quality standard of the major deliverables linked with the project. However, in
preparing the project schedule and in deliverable identification of the project, certain
assumptions are considered. The assumptions are as follows-
1. The staffs of the Yes chemist pharmacy will be ready to accept the change
2. A maximum number of staff members will be participating the training program
The successful execution of this project is linked with certain major constraints which are
identified as follows-
1. The training that will be provided to the staffs of the organization will be only once.
However, periodic training was a necessity for the project team to consider.
2. The project is linked with a scheduling constraint as well. For example, it is needed to
demolish the server room and making is ready for the project in 15 days.
Business case
Yes Chemist is in need of improving their information system particularly because the
organization was operating on a significantly older operating system which gave rise to
major operational issues. The project is expected to be highly beneficial for Yes chemist and
therefore, successful execution of this project is considered. The advantages that the SAP
implementation project will provide to the client of Yes chemist, is indicated in the following
