Topic: The topic that have been chosen for completion of the report is namely Non-profit
vulnerability: An exploratory study. The writers of the journal are namely Rong Linda Zhai, John
Watson, David Gilchrist and Rick Newby.
Research methodology
The research methodology that have been implemented in the process are both secondary
data analysis as well as primary data analysis. It have been seen that the secondary data
collection and analysis have been performed initially. In this case the data that are collected are
via the peer reviewed articles and journals. With the help of peer reviewed articles and journals
the main benefit that is received in the process is that there will be no copyright issues and he
data that are used in the paper will be authenticated. After the primary data collection and
analysis process, the major terminology that is focused on is the primary data collection and
analysis. In this case surveys are conducted and hence wise data are collected and analyzed.
Focus groups are created in this section. After creation of the focus groups the main advantage
that is received in the process is that questions are set as per their standard and required answers
are retrieved.

From the secondary data collection process, it can be stated that the major causes that
have been leading to the organizational vulnerability includes having improper and vague
identity of the mission. Unclear mission have been one of the major aspect. Another factor that
affects the process includes the likes of age and size of the non profit, sources of funding have
been another issue as well. Improper staffing have been another issue. Improper networking also
acts as a major issue in the process.
Primary data analysis
From the primary data collection process, it is seen that the major causes of the non profit
vulnerability includes the likes of poor management process, improper and inadequate
accounting information system have been another issue in the process, being unable to adapt to
the changing process have been another aspect that is to be considered. There are external
aspects as well as the staffing issues along with funding problems in the operational process.
The symptoms that are found in the process includes the likes of inability to set goals and
mission. Improper handling of the administrative expenses, increase in unit cost and delivery
hours.
Conclusion
From the above discussion it can be stated that there are certain instances that acts
beneficial in the operating process and hence wise this ensures that there is a betterment of the
working process. The symptoms are well analyzed in the process and hence wise can be utilized
in eliminating the issues.
