INTRODUCTION
Agile methodology is an important concept which in turn proposes incremental and effectual
design pertaining to software design as well as development. A software framework is a platform
of developing software application. It important for an organisation to have a designed system
that integrate data of various department to smooth operation of the organisation. As per
analysing the case study, agile method is being adopted for project development of the W2L. The
present report has discussed the advantage and disadvantage of the agile method with appropriate
illustration. The report will include a list of high level requirement for building the system.
Prioritising the requirement is discussed with a proper illustration and recommendations. Further,
the report will discuss different role of data controller in the context of business organization.
Further, report will also provide deeper insight about the legal, social, ethical and professional
issues pertaining to W2L. A summary has outlines which shows the purpose of BSC code of
conduct.

Section A
Agile software is a technology which offers solutions through the combined efforts of
cross-functional teams. It is recognized as the most effectual approach which in turn facioliates
rapid as well as flexible response towards change. It assists in planning, development, delivery
and continual improvement to a great extent.
 DSDM Atern: This is also known as Dynamic Systems Development Method. This is the
most used methods from the Agile software development process. This process helps in
understanding the overall management of the firm effectively (What is DSDM Atern,
2014).
Walk2line (W2L) is ais a health and fitness franchise. To manage their work effectively
they want to implement a new system which can help them in monitoring all their work. As per
the given case, DSDM Atern will be the best process to implement in the organization.
According to Scott Runner, this method will be very appropriate for them as this will assist them

in managing all their franchises centrally, and also to allow each franchise to manage their own
operations in a more structured fashion. DSDM Atern work on the basis of following principles,
 Feasibility: This will help in analysing all the operations of the organization which can
be very helpful for W2L in order to manage their work.
 Foundation: This will ensure that all the methods and techniques are applied perfectly in
the organization (What is DSDM Atern, 2014).
 Exploration: This process helps in exploring all the processes which is being performed
in the organization, as this will help in developing appropriate strategies.
 Engineering: Agile engineering may be defined as the prominent process of softwarre
development which in turn helps in dealing with challenging tasks. It also ensures rapid
product development cycles and thereby helps in getting competitive edge.
All the above mentioned phase helps W2L to effectively perform their duties with
the help of this DSDM Atern process by the organization (DSDM Atern Handbook
(2008), 2012).
By focusing on methods like, RAD can help in reducing code robustness in the
organization. This process needs significant user involvement which has to be considered very
carefully by W2L as this will help in giving a good outcome. From assessment, it has identified

that in comparison to Agile software development method DSDM is not effectual. Moreover,
DSDM Atern is comparatively restrict. In addition to this, lack of easiness in working also limits
the significance of DSDM Atern. This method works on 8 principle which helps in enhancing
the working performance of W2L, respectively. These principles are as follows:
 Focus on the Business Need: This DSDM process helps in focusing on the business
needs of the organization. This helps in enhancing the operational management of the
organization.
 Deliver on Time: This process helps in delivering all the service of the organization on
time.
 Collaborate: This will help the organization in maintaining a good relationship with their

1.1 Identifying the requirements that are not appropriate as a high level requirements
For any organization it is very important to have a good management which help in
fulfilling all the requirements of their customers effectively. High level requirements are these
which helps an organization to deliver their services to their users as a part of their working. In
the given case, a workshop was scheduled for selected members in order get more information

related to DSDM Atern, respectively (Abrahamsson and et.al., 2017). From this meeting, various
requirements were identified which were not appropriate high level requirements, such as,
 Customers must be able to search and browse products to buy, whether they are logged in
or not,
 The look and feel of the website should resemble the healthy lifestyle they are selling,
 There is no need of this requirement of the DSDM software in managing juice bar in the
organization.
 Ways to select items and pay for an item in the organization.
 System should allow centres to order marketing materials.
 System should allow centres to order products for their local stores.
These are some requirement which is considered to be not appropriate for the
organization in order to increase their business, and which they can eliminate and implement
some other requirements as per their priority (Abrahamsson and et.al., 2017).
1.2 High level requirements that are required for building the system for the organization
Other than this there are requirements that is required for building a good system for the
organization, which is explained below:
 This DSDM Atern system would allow them to access all their processes in order monitor
them effectively.
 Providing separate options for customer complaints and feedbacks in order to enhance
their performance (Giray and et.al., 2016).
 This system should provide all the information of their services and products, so that their
customers are able to choose wisely.
 Effective bookkeeping service needs to be ensured in the context of new system
 Can help in keeping a track of the charities they are working with.
 This DSDM system could help them in generating a good profile for them in order to
maintain their operations effectively.
B2 Use of MoSCoW Rules
MoSCoW method may be presented as a prioritization tool or technique which in turn used
for the purpose of business analysis, project management as well as software development. Such
rules or models assist in meeting stakeholder’s requirement to the significant level. Full form of
this rule includes four factors, such as,

 Must Have: This process helps in providing the Minimum Usable Subset (MUS) of
requirements for the organization. These MUS include, they cannot deliver any service
on their target date without this factor, not legal without it, unsafe without it, etc.
 Should Have: This factor includes reviewing the degree of pain caused by it for not
being met, in terms of business value or numbers of people affected by the organization
(Ries and Summers, D., 2016).
 Could Have: This factors includes in requirement is less wanted or required by their
customers as this has less impact.
 Won’t have this time: This factor helps the organization to manage expectations that
some requirements will simply not make it into the delivered solution, at least not this
time around.

2.1 Updated ‘high level requirements list’
All these four elements has a huge impact on the organization to manage the performace
of the organization on the basis of the importance. Using MoSCow rules in order to prioritize the
requirements for DSDM. Prioritization can be applied to requirements, tasks, products, use cases,
user stories, acceptance criteria and tests. Using this rule will help in evaluating all the important
requirement that is must for the organization. The main reason of using MoSCow rules for W2L
organization is because, it helps in focusing on the requirement on the basis of their importance,
such as, high, medium or low as per the priorities (Fenton and Bieman, J., 2014).
The updated list of all the high level requirements on the basis of priorities are as follows:

requirement. Providing them a better platform to select items and to pay for that items
effortlessly will help in giving them a positive feedback.
Providing an option which can help their customers to rate services and products of
organization as this will assist in improving their performance effectively. This will also aid in
concentrating on their customer's requirement, respectively (Barnard, Drevin and Huisman, M.,
2017). An effective bookkeeping service built into the new system for the organization will assist
them in monitoring all their processes accurately. This will also help them in addressing all the

C.1. A). The role of data controller within the organisation.
A data controller is the professional who are legally authorised to control and responsible
for operating and keeping the personal data of customer in the software. A data controller is
responsible to handle the data as according the legal requirement .as being a data controller he
has all the personal information about a company and the customer. W2L is going to plant a new
software, so all the information of the operations and details of all the franchisee will be
integrated under one software, which will be managed by the data controller. Hence, data
controller is responsible for effective integrating all the information and manage them.
Under the data protection act 1988, it is the responsibility of the data controller to comply
with the obligation set out in the act, the role of data controller in organisation are:
 To process the data and information accurately and according to the rules and regulation.
 To ensure that the data is accurate and upto date (Barnard, Drevin and Huisman, M.,
2017).
 To ensure adequate security measures both physical, technical and managerial are in
place to protect personal data.
 To keep the data only for time that required for the process.
In an organisation, data controller is very important to record and manage the day to day
operations of the W2L. He would keep track of all the franchisees members, classes and
programmes. The data controller would also be responsible to manage the orders of different
customers for different marketing materials and health food and different supplement range. Data
controller has to work in accordance to the act implied on him. The commission's role is to make
sure that the personal data that are complied with the provision of the acts. He has the wide range
of enforcement powers to assist the data controller in ensuring that the principle of data
protection are being absorbed.
b) Explaining legal, social, ethical and professional issues of W2L in the context of case study
Looking at the case study of the organization, Walk2Live, this can be said that the firm is
susceptible to many legal, social, ethical and professional issues that can impact the business and
overall functionality of the organization. Some of them are as follows:

Legal issues: a wide range of the legal issues or constraints are required to be followed within
the organization to have a proper execution and meeting of their business operation in a very
effective and significant manner. Some legal measures that are been taken in consideration are:
 The details of the members of a franchise tends to get leaked or hacked, leading to the
privacy crisis, which is a legal threat and obligation that is required to be handled by the
firm (Chapram, 2018).
 The financial management of charities is required to be effectively managed in order to
avoid and prevent the misuse of the money and resources.
Social issues: The social issues and operations that are been taken in consideration by the
organisation will lead to the effective following of the business operation without disturbing the
work and social structure of the organisation. Some major social issues that can impact the
performance of W2L in significant manner are:
 The conflict from the Jon can impact the productivity and profitability of the
organisation. The other key people are also required to be managed with the members of
other franchises.
 The franchise system is susceptible to the social and cultural structure of location. This

issues that can affect the firm are:
 Clients or members data security is the biggest ethical challenge that has to be managed
by the selected business entity. The loss of the private data can impact the goodwill and
brand image of the selected enterprise.
 The prices and service charges at all the franchises are required to be maintained
equivalently to avoid any sort of discrimination and conflict.
Professional issues: As the firm has taken many major decision related to its operations, it can
face certain professional conflicts and constraints that can impact the overall brand image and
functionality of the organisation to a greater extent. Some professional conflict or issues are as
follows:

The proper BCS code of conduct for the management is required to be managed by the
organisation as this will help the cited organisation to carry out the business activities and action
plan in much effective and significant manner (Conforto and Amaral, D. C., 2016). The proper
management of all the section of the BCS code of conduct will help the firm to manage the
business operations that will help the organisation to manage their business activities related to
W2L in effective way. The four major sections of BCS code of conduct is as follows:
 The Public interest: As the selected firm is working in the public welfare providing the
health services and food supplements, the organisation is liable to carry out their business
in most ethical manner and with proper following of the code of conduct that is been
applied within the organisation. Thus, the firm has to see through the proper management
of the business activities and action plans that have been decisded by their management
in most effective and significant manner (Inayat and et.al., 2015).
 Duty to Relevant Authority: According to the BCS code of Conduct, the firm is liable to
report continuously to the reporting authority i.e. Janet or Ben. This will reduce the
chances of conflict and thus will lead to the rise in the setting of the proper management
of the action plans and carry out the decision making process that is been followed by the
firm.
 Duty to the profession: this will help Ben, jon and other employees of Sudo software and
W2L to work with honesty, dedication and determination to have the better output and
resolve the conflicts at the work place (Inayat and et.al., 2015).
 Professional Competence and Integrity: this is the selection and implementation of the
proper management of the action plan that will include the use of proper professional
knowledge and skill set. This will help in improving the quality of services and
operations that are been offered by W2L.

On the basis of the report this can be said the proper development of a frame work like
Agile for a firm is a very tedious and analysis of the operations at the work place. A management
summary is been presented that will help the firm to use the Agile tools effectively within the
firm. Besides this, the effective tools to use this framework are been analysed. The High
requirements analysis and MoSCow prioritisation is been evaluated with the proper management
and evaluation of the requirements and evaluating the requirements list with the justification.
Other than this, the legal, social, ethical and professional issues related to the business operations
are been evaluated with the effective use of BCS code of conduct.
