According to me, Lucky has more power than Pozzo even when being his servant,
Lucky was powerful within their relationship. It was due to Pozzo’s dependency on Lucky
where its tramps help him in showing fraternity among people. The character of Pozzo is
defined to be confusing and nonsense where he always thought of coming of no good based
on the activities having threat such as asking questions which shows his correctness.
However, the speech of Lucky went to be showing the most wordy and nonsensical point.
This showed Lucky’s character received to be psychic or visionary based on the audience and
case to be nothing but a mute slave. Therefore, this shows more power between the
relationship between Pozzo and Lucky based on my perspective where Lucky met with fixed
attention due to his upbringing.
Also, he conveys tangible information showing his confusion along with passion and
intellectual and understanding appearance as well. Based on my understanding of Act two,
the servant and his master that is Lucky and Pozzo shows the dwindling and destructiveness
between their relationships. In case of financial aspect, Pozzo has more power being the
master but he was so meaningless and absurd with his thoughts and was mistaken for Godot.
However, lucky was being generous and Pozzo was nothing without him as per his
dependency. But in their relationship, enslavement exhibiting the proclivity of humanity
towards the cruelty against one another based on my perception. Lastly, in terms of literature,
slavery is the “most symbolic instances of human suffering”.
