INTRODUCTION
Academic skills helps in enhancing and improving knowledge and skills of individual so
that it can grow in both personal and professional life. Waltham international College is institute
that provide facilities for student for further education by offering both types of course such as
vocational education and academic course. This report analysis of various support services
provided by WIC to students so that they can grow and achieve success in their life.

University support services
There are various support services for students in university who join new to provide
them with detailed information about all safety standards and how they can enjoy a comfortable
learning experience at university while studying with their peers (Ma, 2019). The students
support services can be understood as follows:
Library resources:Waltham international college provides all students with wide access to wide
range of books, journals and e-library resources to learn advanced skills in their studies. The text
journals in libraries of university services can be accessed by students throughout the day and an
excellent experienced professional team of staff members is available to provide assistance to
students regarding their assignments and projects.
Language support for students: Many students coming in university are not familiar with
English language as their native image is different, also there is vast difference from school level
English to high school. Waltham international university provides English learning courses for
students where students are given learning platforms depending on their varied interests and
develop academic English. Language support team provides strong accessibility to all students in
university campuses by allowing them platforms to communicate freely in their native languages
and also enable platforms to learn academic English (Rockman,2019).
Disability and Dyslexia support: There is an exclusive support team of specialists and
experienced teachers who help students with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia and other
mental disabilities. Services and facilities can be customized as per students need for enabling
high quality studying experience at university and coordinate as per the demands of learning by
professors. The disability team services help students to develop confidence in their behaviour
and enhance their learning, interacting patterns on various levels.

Equality and diversity: Waltham international university is highly committed to build diverse
students community at campuses by focusing on equality of opportunity and celebrate diversity
in students and staff populations. Students are given platforms to share their ideas and views
through Brainstorming sessions, group discussions and seminars where they can gain practical
learning from various professors (Han and Yi, 2019).
Finance and funding: Waltham University provides finance and funding services to all students
including budgeting and fund management activities where professors are there to guide students
and solve their hardships. Finance adviser are fully experienced to solve students queries related
to their budget for taking up varied courses and planning details for enabling the efficient
learning experience at university campus. Professors are also their to guide students for reaching
out to finance and funding teams which enhances their abilities and potentiates to large extent.
This management team enables students large funding and finance availability with the option of
loan services through which students can also refer to the future payment options for the courses
they choose (Suntheimer and Wolf,2020).
Healthcare and well-being support services: WIC consider health and safety of student on prior
basis so that they can easily learn new things and improve their academic knowledge and skills.
Institute has healthcare provides and doctor near campus so that appropriate measures can be
taken in case of any such incident (Davila Jr, 2019). There are expertise that provide support to
students that are facing challenges of mental stress by listening to their problem and providing
solution. Therefore, this support services helps in gaining parents confidence that their child is
safe in the campus as college priority is to ensure health and well-being of student.
Counselling services: Another facility provide by WIC is professional counselling to students so
that they can get guidance related to various issue for growth in the future. Professor are highly
skilled, experienced and knowledgable so that provide appropriate guidance to all students and
resolve their issues in an effective manner. Lecture of WIC also listen to students grievance,
problem that they faced while learning new things. Thus, it provides opportunities to students to
share their new and innovative ideas to lecture and bringing new changes within college and
developing knowledge of students.
Reflection
As per my experience WIC support services were extremely good and every student in
order to enhance its academic skill has to join such institute. It not only provide education but

also offer such addition facilities and infrastructure so that student can easily gather learn lot of
new things from his peer ones. Various services that had benefited me while I was in WIC
campus are there was a welfare team that support and handle various issue that are non-academic
(Roksa and Kinsley, 2019). It provides financial support to students so that they student of
various financial status joined the institute and develop new skill and knowledge. Library
resource were very useful for me as they provide me material and full range of syllabus 24 hours
so it provides easy and comfort to learn new things as per my timing. Healthcare and well-being
facilities provide by WIC is able to ensure safety of students and able to meet needs of personal
individual. On the other hand my peer ones can also use such services by joining in WIC college
it helps in increasing their academic knowledge and skills (Bird and Bird, 2017). They can also
use library, take guidance from lecture about particular topics and get equal opportunities as per
other students. Thus, all such support services helps in increasing knowledge and skill of
academic of me and my peers one's at the same time provide various growth opportunities in
career.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that various support services helps students to
easily understand various new things that they can learn for growth in the future. Support
services of WIC helps in promoting brand image of company and attract more students to come
and joined the institution. Lastly it can be explained that academic skill are to be developed in
each and every individual for growth and success in personal and professional life.
