UNDERSTANDING INDIVIDUALS AND SOCIETY
Problems of war and terrorism in today world and their resolution
Nowadays, there are many problems associated with issues involving war and terrorism.
Many countries in different parts of the world are affected by war and terrorism. The war and
terrorism lead to the death of the innocent civilians. It has been observed that in most countries
affected by war and terrorism, 90% of the civilians die massively innocent (Jiang, 2017 p.236).
The war and terrorism problem leads to fear and lack of peace in the country affected. In the
regions with war and terrorism cases, people live in tension and fear of attack. Some countries
like Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq war and terrorism cases are reported almost every day. In such
countries people live with no peace especially those who are living I in target areas like cities
and big towns. No single tourist will wish to tour the areas, regions and countries with war and
terrorism issues. The tourists do not visit those countries affected by the war and terrorism and
therefore, the economy of the same country depicts. The tourists boost the economy of the
country and the fact the tourism fear death from such countries affected by the war, the country
is not able to generate the revenue for that matter. The business activities within the countries
affected by the war and terrorism go down simply because the people involved in business
management, as well as the customers, are in fear and suspicion. In this case, most of the

business premises are closed and people run for their life either to other countries (Khan and
Wei, 2016 p.597).
The schools are also affected by the war and terrorism problem. The learning activities
are disrupted by the war and terror attacks especially the school and other learning institutes
located within the target areas. In the affected regions, the schools are terminated since teachers
and single student will not wish to go to such schools and institution located within the target
areas in fear of being attacked while in their classes or lecture halls in the case of terror attacks.
The reconciliation is the most important way by which the same problem of the war and
terrorism can be reduced within the country or region affected. The communities or countries
under the war need to have a seat together and discuss the issue and come up with a well-
structured solution for the same. The issue bringing about war and terrorism can be discussed by
the involved parties and better solution sought. Through reconciliation, the issues of the war and
terrorism will remain a history within the countries affected. The involved parties can do so by
calling court proceedings who rule over the case. In the case of the countries involved in the war,
they should try the best to come up with the solution to solve the issues (Rubin, 2017 p.3). If the
war is due to natural resources they are sharing, they should come up with the mechanism by
which each country will get the share that it deserved and the issue of the war and terrorism will
be reduced between or among countries or even communities involved.

children, without parental supervision children may involve to inappropriate contents which may
mislead them to engage in socially immoral behaviors (Rice, Haynes, Royce and Thompson,
2016 p.81). Children can be scammed through online by fraudsters especially when their access
to internet in not controlled by their parents. Children’ access of online without parental
supervision may lead to cyber-bullying and get messages of threats or intimidation which can
increase their anxiety and fear and may lead them to engage in wrong practices to deal with the
fear instead of informing their parents. Children waste of time on social media at expense of
concentrating in studies and this may result to poor performance in many schools. Uncontrolled
access of the online may lead to children accessing inappropriate materials such as terrorism or
sexually abusive content which ruin the moral values of the children. Accessing social media
platforms without parental supervision makes children interact with people from different
cultures thus they may end up copying other people’ culture which may be misleading. There are
so many negative impacts associated with the use of social media and digital technology. In
contrary to the negative impact, there are positive impacts associated with social media and
digital technology (Ngai, Tao and Moon, 2015 p.33).
It has made communication effective and efficient simply because, through the use of
social media, the information can be transmitted or sent from one place to another. Social media
and digital technology have improved the personal relation of equality, especially in the business
sector. Many businesses are doing well simply because the involved parties use social media
platforms such as Facebook, Instagram as well as telegram in advertising their products
(Valenzuela, Somma, Scherman and Arriagada, 2016 p.695).
For instance, the use of the computers within the business firms has led to the fast serving of the
customers as well as maintaining the accuracy within the business organization. The digital
