System vision document
The main aim of creating the system vision document is to describe the activities that are
going to be performed by the newly developed auto-parts warehouse management system. The
developed warehouse management system will be able to implement all the performance that is
offered with the core warehouse. The main objective is to ensure that the developed warehouse
system is capable of providing better benefits towards the business. The system vision document
will be able to provide better support towards the business. The new implemented system will be
able to offer all the core processes of the warehouse management system.
Problem
The problem that was identified with the current warehouse management system is that it
was not able to handle the highly dynamic procedures. This impacted the performance of the
business and created a huge impact on the profits obtained by the auto parts business. This leads
to need of implementing a better warehouse system that will be able to overcome these
challenges. Thus it can be stated that with the implementation of warehouse management system
it will become easy to manage the warehouse processes. The main issue that the system fails to
provide better benefits towards the business as a result the core members related to the business
has decided to implement an effective warehouse management system that will be capable of
providing better support. The problems will be mitigated with the implementation of new
system.
Capabilities
Warehouse management system is a software application that has the potential to control
and manage the daily operations that are performed within the warehouse. Warehouse is

basically concerned with performing the storage function whereas the warehouse management
system focuses on ensuring that each material associated with the business are being addressed
effectively. These are also responsible for managing the whole supply chain process. It is
expected that the newly implemented system will be able to provide better facilities towards the
organization. With the implemented warehouse management system it is expected that the
organization will be able to maintain a better data transparency in stock control management.
This will ensure that the challenges faced by the present system will be eradicated. The core
capabilities of warehouse management system include the ability to provide the information
towards the managers related to each activities that takes place within the business. Beside all
this it is expected that the system will be able to ensure an effective way of dispatching the
goods. The expected capabilities that will be offered with the system include:
 The new system will be able to receive all types of orders
 The new system will help in having a better control over the inventory
 The order processing will become faster as compared to the current system
 The new system will be able to provide better functionality access towards pick up and
processing. This will ensure that the process is being completed efficiently.
 The management related to orders will become easy as it will be able to provide better
documentation and control towards the system.
 The proposed system will come along with proper wireless communication devices that
will ensure better operations and will minimize the costs
 The production will be increased that will be beneficial for the organization
 The new system will include a system alert option for alerting the team and customers.

The major benefits that will be offered with the newly implemented warehouse
management system are many. However there is a need to process the list of benefits so that it
becomes easy to analyze the need of management system within the business. The major benefit
that is going to be offered with the newly implemented warehouse management system is that it
will improve the customer relationships. The benefits that will be offered towards the business
