INTRODUCTION
Management skills are required to manage the organization's business functions and
activities. It is essential for every manager to perform their duty in company successfully. The
present report is based on Warwick district council management (Noe, Gerhart and Wright,
2017). It explains importance of effective management skills which is required for effective
management in council. This study clarifies key areas of focus for cultures, people and business
and management issues in firm. Furthermore, it justifies theories for motivating staff and
relevant on decision making within council.

Importance of effective management skills within Warwick district council
Council has taken decision to resettled built site in Leamington spa within 6 month time
and identify areas of improvement in their overall management before moving at any place.
Management skills required for effective management in Warwick council-
Motivation- Motivation is one of the best management skills which is essential for
manager in council. Job of management group in workplace is to get things done through
staff. To do this, council manager need to be able to inspire and motivate their staff
members to achieve business goals as well as personal goals.
Motivation skills is very important in context of council manager. With the help of
motivation ability, manager enhance employees performance more than now and increase their
working interest. To gain profit and generate revenue, employee motivation is one of the most
important things which need to be done by district council manager because it permits

others get affected and this will create issues in management. Manager with power culture used
