Landfill and waste management are interrelated each other. Categorize different types of
wastes. What is e-waste? What do you know about the waste management hierarchy?
the system which carries different type of plans for both waste cutting and waste management,
therefore such a system is known as an integrated management system. the integrated waste
management system is segregated in three sections or priority-
First priority: in first priority, it may contain avoidance of pollution and waste which comes from
industries. in this section the production of harmful chemicals and eliminating them packing
product (Kumar & Dixit, 2018).
second priority: the second priority targets only small businesses. it also contains the encourage
the people for reusability of products.
third priority: it is completely from the first two. it is focused over treating the waste to reduce
the toxicity of waste (Ikhlayel, 2018).
commonly the waste is segregated in 5 parts-
 liquid waste: the waste which may include household water, organic industrial waste and
much more waste in liquid form.
 solid waste: in this type of waste plastic waste, tins/ metals waste, paper waste, ceramic
and glass waste may contain.
 organic waste: in this type of waste common household waste are classified such as good
and garden waste.
 recyclable waste: it may contain that type of product which can be used again such as
metal, furniture and etc.
 hazardous waste: in type of waste toxic and reactive waste is included. which is harmful
to human and living things.
e-waste or electronic waste is related to a broken or outdated electronic device or material. the E-
waste material can be recycled and they are still valuable after the damage of them. example-
CRT monitors, fax machines, RAM chips, and etc (Ikhlayel, 2018).

the waste management hierarchy is a process by which the waste treated. also, it is a concept to
manage the waste by developing and following strategies.
