1. The chosen event policy
The policy that will be considered for undertaking the research is Waverley Council
Events Policy, which aims at regulating and controlling the range of events that meets Waverley
Council’s cultural, social, economic and sustainable needs. the policies also helps in undertaking
steps to bring in changes in the systems of the events management which aims at organizing
events that might not hurt the sentiments of the other people living in the community.
2. Evolution of an event as per the chosen policy
The Bondi Winter Magic event that is being undertaken will be helping to transform the
different sections of the Sydney’s winter playground. The event will be undertaken between
28the June 2018 to 29th July 2018. The event aims at promoting the different aspects of art,
culture and history with Bondi and District Chamber of Commerce’s On the Streets series of
music and art (Jung et al., 2017). The event that is being undertaken as per the Waverley
Council’s policy emphasizes on nurturing the cultural, historical and educational systems of the
region. The event will be helping the people to make a note of the different positive elements of
the events management.
3. Consideration of the parts of the policy that is required to be evaluated
The policy aims at nurturing the different cultural, historical and the social elements
without hurting the sentiments of the other members of the community (Roth et al., 2017). The
policy emphasizes on the outcome of the event and thereby puts forward regulations that help in
the proper management of the events and their placement as per the choice of audience. The

people are of the enriched culture and heritage. On the other hand, the event also aims at

5. The comment
The event that will be undertaken is based on the understanding of the policy that is
framed by the Waverly Council, which will be helping to execute the objectives as per the goals
of the event. The historical walks that will be undertaken as a part f the event will be helping the
event management team to adhere to the principles of the policy that is formulated by Waverly
Council. It will be helping the event management team to bring in changes in the event structures
that will be undertaken by the same as per the objectives of the policy on ethical grounds.
