WEARABLE IT TECHNOLOGY
Literature review
The aim of this report is to describe the concept associated with wearable IT
technology. The wearable IT technologies are being used for the purpose of tracking the
activities performed by the users. Wearable technology are fashion electronics devices that
are incorporated within the clothes or used as watches by the users. The report will describe
the future of Wearable IT in the healthcare, development in the field of entertainment and in
the lifestyles. Apart from this the idea of wearable IT will also be described in details so that
it becomes easy to describe about the device (Eriksson, Kose & Tacke, 2017). With the
implementation of wearable IT devices it has of served that several effects are being
generated on the lifestyle. This will also be described within the report so that it becomes
easy to understand the impact that has come along with the implementation of this
technology. Lastly the report will describe the discussion related to S.O.A.R model.
Invention of wearable IT
The wearable IT technology was started with the watch that were used by people for
the purpose of telling time. In the early 1500s the German inventor Peter Henlein has created
what is that can we wore as the necklaces. How are ever with the enhancement in the
technology is it the wearable IT technology are used in healthcare for the purpose of
determining the health condition of each patients. With the help of wearable technology in
the healthcare it becomes easy to collect the data. The available data used in health care
offers an easy way to deter mine heart rate, steps walked, the Blood pressure; time spent by
patients in exercising and also helps in the calories that are burned. However the healthcare
has implemented a new smartwatch tracker for the purpose of determining the physical health
of the patients. This helps in measuring the alcohol content within the blood, measures the
athletic performance, deter mine is the sickness of user and provide a long-term monitoring

towards the patients (Halson, Peake, & Sullivan, 2016). The wearable devices also offers a
health risk assessment application for determining the diseases that are likely to affect the
patient body in future (Aliverti, 2017).The main reason behind developing the wearable IT
application is to enhance the lifestyle of the users. The wearable IT technologies are use for
several reasons other than healthcare. Moreover wearable IT technology also increases the
security of data and ensures that proper control is being provided towards the system. The
memory requirement for the wearable IT technology I less as compare to other devices.
Hence it can be stated that with the help of wearable IT technology the lifestyle of the users
can be enhanced and will also ensure a better health towards each patient.
Future of wearable IT
Wearable IT technologies are the small electronic devices that are mainly used for the
purpose of sensing and capturing the data related to each patient. These play a crucial role in
determining the health condition of patient. The wearable IT technology has implemented
into three types of devices that are hand Worn, head worn and body worn. The devices that
are used as Watches help in determining the steps walked by the users. This helps in
determining the heart rate as well. The wearable IT devices helps in cardiology and collect
the data that can be used for deter mining the BP, breathing pattern and the glucose level in
blood of the patients (Hiremath, Yang & Mankodiya, 2014). The devices developed are
responsible for carrying a huge amount of data. The main advantage of using wearable
technology in healthcare is that it offers accurate data to words the doctors. This helps in
maintaining a better health of each patient. With the help of wearable devices the BP of each
patient can be deter mind effectively that helps in further treatment of the patient. The main
aim behind using wearable IT technology in the healthcare sector is that it encourages
proactive healthcare and helps in reducing the chances of heart attack in case of serious
conditions. With the help of this device is the heart rate can be deter mind effectively with

less errors and as a result treatment can be provided based on the data collected. This also
helps in engaging the patients on the way data can be maintained and the way patient can
develop their health habits. The wearable technologies that are used by health care sector are
used for the purposes of determining the heart rate of patience and ensure that proper
monitoring is maintained over the patients. This also helps in determining the calories that are
burnt by the users while working out. The main reason behind integrating wearable
technologies with health care is that it enhances the way of providing treatment to words the
patient (Umasankar et al., 2016). This also ensures that better flexibility and scalability is
offered towards the patients. Apart from these with the growing technology several
organisation has developed wearable technologies in order to support the healthcare sector.
The healthcare applications that are being developed by different organisations has the ability
to measure the alcohol content with in the blood of the patients. These also helps in measuring
the athletic performance of the user and generates report based on their daily activities (Patel,
Asch & Volpp, 2015). Thus it can be stated that with implementation of proper wearable IT
technology within the healthcare sector it will become easy to maintain the lifestyle of the
patients. This will also ensure a better treatment towards each patient.
Effects of using wearable IT technology on the lifestyle
Wearable technologies are fast growing technology that helps in connecting the
human body with the technology for the purpose of enhancing their performance. These
devices improves the overall productivity and also strengthens the work capabilities of each
user. However t is observed that did the integration of wearable IT technology between the
regular lifestyle the performance of users can be enhanced. They help in tracking the fitness
goal of each user (Jakicic et al., 2016). Wearable technology also increases the productivity
of the users and insures that they are able to meet the expectations in their personal life and in

their professional life also. This also offers an easy way of coming negating with customers.
Apart from these one of the most important features that are being offered with the IT
wearable technology is that it helps in protecting the personal belongings of each user. The
main reason behind this is that it offers a better way of handling the data stored in the devices
and this cannot be accessed by anyone else (Kolodzey et al., 2017). Hence it can be stated
that with the use of wearable IT technology the lifestyle of the human will increase and will
offer a greater productivity towards the users.
Wearable IT technology using SOAR model
The main reason behind selecting the wearable ID technology is that with the
enhancement in the technology it is of served that wearable technology has achieved a
huge importance. These offers a great way of managing the lifestyle of the users.
Hence it can be stated that this is one of the major concern that are needed to be
outlined with in the project.
While discussing about the wearable technologies I have organise all the information
in midget three sections. The sections are being developed for the purpose of easy
understanding and ensure that all the data are being successfully integrated within the
report. In the report I have described all the necessary details regarding the wearable
IT technology along with the major benefit of using this technology in the healthcare
sector. Hence it can be stated that the report will help in understanding the importance
of Triple IT technology in today’s world.
While developing the report I have collected all the data and organise them in such a
way that it can be related easily to each other. In the report I have described the main
concept behind wearable IT technology I am the person who brought the idea of
wearable technology. In addition to this the first device that was implemented was
also discussed in the above part of the report apart from this the future of wearable IT

technology in the healthcare sector and other entertainment field are also described in
the report. Thus it can be stated that all the data that are listed in the report have been
prepared in such a way that it can connect easily with each other.
With the use of this methodology it can be stated that the developer will help in
understanding the major concepts associated with the wearable technology. The main benefit
of using and evaluating these model in the project is that it offers a better way of reasoning
the companies associated with the technology. In addition to this it has also helped us to
choose the topic wisely so that it can be benefited in our future. Thus I can state that with the
help of this technology it will become easy to develop a report effectively by fulfilling all the
requirements.
