Main Body
1. The data present below is representing various information regarding temperature, weather,
wind, humidity, barometer and visibility on different days and times. The data is based on the
attributes defined above of the ten consecutive days. The data presented in tabular format as:
Figure 1: Tabular data
2. The data here is represented in the form of the charts. Two of the charts are used as:
Line Chart-
Figure 2: Line Chart
The above shown chart is the line chart that is created using two of the given columns in the
table (Demir et al., 2018). The comparison in the chart is done between Days and the
temperature. X-axis of the chart shows the days whereas Y-axis shows the temperature on
different days. The data represented in the chart is the Temperature on each day of the 10
consecutive days of the month.

Column Chart-
Figure 3: Column Part
The next chart that is being used is the Column Chart. This chart is used to represent the
comparison between the Barometer as well as the changes in the Barometer values at
different days. The X-axis is used to represent the days whereas Y-axis is used to represent
the Barometer values (Jackson, J., 2016). The data represented in the chart is the Barometer
values on each day of the 10 consecutive days of the month.

Next part is shown above with the table and all the required data that is being calculated
using the in-built functions present in the MS Excel.
i). Mean
Step 1 – Select the data of which the mean has to be calculated.
Step 2- Write down the formula such as for calculating the mean of the data.
Formula used will be-
=Average (number1, number2…)
Mean calculated for the Temperature is- 5.88
Mean calculated for the Wind is- 13.25
Mean calculated for the Humidity is- 0.83
Mean calculated for the Barometer is- 1027.33
ii) Median
Step 1 – Select the data of which the median has to be calculated.
Step 2- Write down the formula such as for calculating the median of the data.
Formula used will be-
=Median (number1, number2…)
Median calculated for the Temperature is- 8
Median calculated for the Wind is- 13
Median calculated for the Humidity is- 0.81
Median calculated for the Barometer is- 1028.5
iii). Mode
Step 1 – Select the data of which the mode has to be calculated.
Step 2- Write down the formula such as for calculating the mode of the data.
Formula used will be-
=Mode (number1, number2…)
Mode calculated for the Temperature is- 8
Mode calculated for the Wind is- 13
Mode calculated for the Humidity is- 0.76
iv). Range
Step 1 – Select the data of which the range has to be calculated.
Step 2- Write down the formula such as for calculating the Range of the data.
Formula used will be-
For Low Range
=Min (number1, number2…)

For High Range
=Max (number1, number2…)
Low Range calculated for the Temperature is- 1
High Range calculated for the Temperature is- 10
Low Range calculated for the Wind is- 2
High Range calculated for the Wind is- 20
Low Range calculated for the Humidity is- 0.7
High Range calculated for the Humidity is- 1
Low Range calculated for the Barometer is- 1011
High Range calculated for the Barometer is- 1036
v). Standard Deviation
Step 1 – Select the data of which the Standard Deviation has to be calculated.
Step 2- Write down the formula such as for calculating the Standard Deviation of the data.
Formula used will be-
=stdev (number1, number2…)
Standard Deviation calculated for the Temperature is- 3.789
Standard Deviation calculated for the Wind is- 6.66
Standard Deviation calculated for the Humidity is- 0.101
Standard Deviation calculated for the Humidity is- 8.412
4.
i) Using the equation given y=mx+c, first of all the value of m has to be calculated (Vieira et
al., 2017). Value of m here is considered as- Temperature data that is being given of the
several days. Using the temperature data at different days, the value of temperature at
particular day can be calculated.
ii) The value of C is something that is considered as constant. Using the constant value, here
the constant value is the data that is being considered as changing daily.
iii) Here, the temperature is to be calculated on 15th day as well as on 23rd day.
For calculating the temperature on 15th and 23rd day-
Forecast function is being used. Formula that is being used is:
=forecast(x, known x’s values, known y’s values)
