INTRODUCTION

manner. Current project is based on the development of web application which helps the social
media research centre. The study shows different tools and associated with the project
management while making plan for project. Moreover, different kinds of project management
tools are like project charter, work breakdown structure, Gantt chart, network diagram, etc.
Along with this, it also explains about the risks and constraints which occur in the project plan
and implementation using risk register. Apart from this, time based budget plan for the web
application development as well as quality management plan is to be described in the present
report.

INFORMATION ABOUT PROJECT MANAGER
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
It is required to develop a web application for Social Media Research centre within the
specified budget and time limit. Anticipated website should consist of information about every
research project, list of the supervisor’s, all the projects, journals and research papers of
Master’s and PhD students and information about6 all the other events. Apart from this, the
anticipated application must be according to the worldwide standard. Also, it should execute
all latest and fastest technologies present. It should be free from bugs and should require less
maintenance in order to make it unproblematic and convenient for both intranet and member
accounts.
Proper training, guiding the working of web application, has to be provided to the application
manager and members.
Scope of the Project
Social Media research Centre is going to start its operations and the associated organizational

centre has closed down its operations, it has given rise to develop a website in order to create a
storehouse of high standard research papers and journals. The purpose is to have a proper, well
managed database of everything.
While the project is to serve the purpose of research centre, it will also bring out other fields of
the organization which includes Department of marketing, operations, research etc. It is
required to have all the departments working as a team for successfully carrying out the
project.
Deliverables of the project
Firstly, the setup will be created on the internal server, only after passing through all the tests
and simulation in the internal server, the full website will go live on November 1, 2017 at 12
A.M in the selected regions. Improvements will be done based on the suggestions and
feedback being collected from those regions. After all the testing and improvements final site
will go live on December 1, 2017 at 12 A.M.
The website will comprise of information related to research projects, supervisor’s list,
projects, journals and papers of master’s and PhD students and all the information about
various events. It will act as a storehouse of information and research papers which are
associated to Social Media Research centre.
Training sessions will be conducted to make sure that the working of the website, that is how
to upload, edit, delete and read content, is properly explained to the members and application
managers. It will help them to use the web application easily and conveniently.
Benefits of the project
The project will help in promoting the brand image of Social Media Research Centre. It will
be ensured that a quality research, journal and other material are made available on the website
time to time. The content of research papers, journals and other informing material will be
easily available and accessible to people. It will be made sure that the organization carry
transparent image regarding research outputs as the main focus will be on social media.
Further, it will help to get more clicks and subscribers as well. It will be financially viable
because members will have to pay for going through their research papers and journals which
are being published on the website.

For conservative and simplex web design, it is better to use google material but do not
copy paste of material form Google and prepare on own language.
Develop or crate user friendliness of the site, it is suggested to more focus project topic
and create according to project topic for relevant words writing.
