Introduction
Information and computer technology (ICT) is the component and infrastructure which can
enable modern computing. This is not used for the single component. Basically, it is used for the
many applications and devices such as networking component, video conferencing, smartphones
and cells that can allow the combined the organization and people. This study is used to enable
the Information and computer technology to reduce the cost of travel. This research is based on
web conferencing to enable information and communication technology (ICT). Web
conferencing is used to enable the computer screen, web-based content for two or more mobile
devices and computer and individual applications. It used a platform to deliver through the
internet via software as a service (SaaS). This study can describe web-based technology to
reduce the travelling and accommodation charges by developing digital communication and
online research skills (Robin et al., 2019).

LO3: Develop online research skill
This is to develop online research skill based on web conferencing through information and
communication technology. This is used to describe the different types of techniques that can
allow the communication between the two or more people who are located at a different location
through the live conferencing (Wisser et al., 2019).web conferencing is used to define the
various types of services such as webcasts, webinars, and web meeting. This can be done by TCP
or IP connection over the internet. But this research wants to discuss only two web conferencing
with their features, contrast and advantages etcetera.
This study discusses the two web conferencing such as webinars and webcast as followed:
Webinars
This is one type of web conferencing which can provide the live conferencing. In this
conferencing, all the seminars are referred to webinars through the internet. This can be defined
as on the one hand is used for presenters who can share information to the participants and on
considering the other hand; the participant can ask and respond to the questions related to the
information. This conferencing helps to audience and presenter to interact with each other but to
a limited extent (Slivkoff et al., 2019).
The webinar also has different types of software, version and features. This study discusses the
eztalks webinar, which is most used webinar software over different countries.
This has the different type of features such as interactive feature, customizable feature, recording
feature, paid webinar feature and reporting feature etcetera.
There are many advantages and disadvantages of webinars:
Advantages:
It is easy to use and convenient for both participatory and presenter.
This does not require any special requirement.
Less cost
This has the facility of recording so that other people and view.

Digital communication skills can be defined as to communicate digitally through e-learning,
video conferencing. This study provides effective digital communication skills, such as video
communication skills. Video communication is the best way of digital communication skills to
interact with the participant and presenters digitally by video conferencing. It can help to provide
the video lectures for the student so that can learn from the video lectures.
