Introduction:
The web development can be considered as the works which are related with a website
development of the intranet or the internet services. The development of the website can be very
simple and in many of the cases it is also very much critical, depending on the requirement of the
website. A proper type website development includes coding and writing mark-up related
knowledge from the end of the web page developers. In many of the cases web page
development also includes the content management system so that making changes in the content
becomes easier with having some of the basic technical skills and knowledge.
In this paper a work related with a real world website development will be discussed. In
this aspect a website will be developed for a charity organization. Regarding this website in this
report complete development process for creating the website will be discussed and important
aspects regarding this website project will be elaborated.
Website Creating Process:
Several of tools and techniques need to be used properly for the development of the
intended website. There are several of steps which are incorporated with the process of website
development. In this process the first task for the development of the website is gathering the
required information. In this section mainly information regarding purpose and main goals of the
website will be gathered. The main planning for the development of the website will be done on
the next step. In the following step of the website development process designing of the
approved website will be done following the proper sequence. A proper website always includes
various of important information regarding what is presented in the website. Thus, depending on
the presentation of the website it is very much important to write the content for the presentation

accordingly which will be also displayed in the developed website. The main aim for writing a
proper content is engaging with the audiences. After setting all the requirements of the website
development it is now the time of coding steps. In the coding step the actual development of the
website starts. In this coding phase first the homepage is created after that all the required
subpages will be created for this project. The next step for the website development is testing and
review step. In this step all the requirements for the webpage will be tested thoroughly and also
all the functionality of the system will be evaluated. The main aim of testing step is ensuring that
webpage is functioning in a proper way. During the testing step various of bugs can be
discovered which need to be reported to the developer of the website. The last step for the
development of this is not actually related with the development but it is one of the most crucial
part which is maintenance of the website. In this step maintenance of the website is done for
ensuring proper functionality of the website.
For creation of this charity website mainly three types of coding has been utilized. These
coding are the HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding languages. For creating the main skeleton of
the website HTML is used while the CSS is used for the designing purposes and the JavaScript is
used for core programming of the website.
Working with the Client:
Proper communication was needed for this projects so that the project can be executed
alongside of the requirements of the project client. To work with the client in a proper way first
the whole execution of the project has been presented to the project clients. In this way any type
of concerns regarding the project can be cleared at the very beginning stage of the project which
will be leading to successful completion of the project. Also, the clients has been informed in an
urgent basis if any type of changes need to be done in the project which was not the part in the

initial requirements. Through this way, in a professional manner working has been done with the
project clients.
Learning the Technical Skills:
For the execution of the project some important technical skills are required in this case.
The main knowledge which are required regarding the website development includes HTML,
CSS and JavaScript knowledge. Learning side of these technical skills was quite good for this
project. The easiest part in this learning process was the HTML part. The HTML was quite easy
to learn and it was very much simple to understand. The other two languages are quite harder to
learn when compared with the HTML. Though both of the CSS and the JavaScript is
comparatively harders it was never impossible to learn both of them for the development of the
website. Some extra efforts are also required to learn both of the CSS and the JavaScript faster.
Easier and Difficult things for the Project:
While the project of the website development was being executed there are several of
easier thing and some of them were bit difficult in nature. The initial stages were go very well in
this project. The initial stages were all about planning of the website and creating skeleton of the
website. In this stage, only the HTML has been used and this time was the easiest part of this
project. The difficulties came in the project when CSS and the JavaScript is implemented in the
project. There were several kinds of errors has been faced while both of the technologies are
used.
Changes that can be done next time:
The main changes which can be done in the next time for this project are the inclusion of
the more visual transitions for which more JavaScript need to be implemented for this project.

Also, if the project need to be executed again then the main focus will be increasing the number
of subpages. In this way specific pages for the specific topic can be created which will make the
website more professional.
Contribution of the Group Members:
For this project all the group members contributed equally. This project was having
various of specific tasks needed to be executed and each of the group members has handled all of
these tasks in a proper manner. People good at coding has handled that part and the designing
part has been done some other group members.
Conclusion:
From the above discussion it can be concluded that for building a proper website various
of steps need to be executed in a proper manner. In this paper a group report has been presented
regarding a charity website implementation. In this report important processes for the creation of
the website has been discussed. With that how the projects has been executed considering the
engagement of the clients has been elaborated in this report. Also, the important technical skills
that is required in this case has been properly discussed within this report. In this paper
discussion has been also made regarding what actually went well in the project and the things
which were quite difficult in this project is also discussed. On the top of that what types of
changes will be done in this project if the project is executed again has been elaborated. Finally,
contribution of each of the project group members has been elaborated in this paper.
