as PHP and JavaScript. The opening at Xanda well suited
my previous experience.

second number because I lack in C# and ASP.NET

The opening at Explore match with my PHP skills and OOP
methodologies are common paradigm in every platform. So,
I also have grip on it but does not have hands-on experience
on Rest API’s.
Client Server – London
The Client Server opening also require Rest API’s
experience and also require experience in UI designing. I
lack in both skills but have sound grip on JavaScript and

I have sent this proposal to Xanda HR and they told I have been queue in application process.
They shortlisted me for interview and took my interview on scheduled day. After a week I
received a call that I have been selected as Junior Web Developer at Xanda. On next Monday
I have joined their company and they brief me with my responsibilities and duties.

P1.3 Recognise the business constraints on the work experience offered
The process of developing website goes through several processes. These processes also
suffers many problems. Some of the problem are discussed below:
- Cost of a project estimated on the basis of project feature (John, 2011).
Solution: Setting up budget up front on the basis of features being used in website.
- Requirements are not clearly defined, requirements need modification due to business
reasons, and requirements does not lead to a suitable solution (John, 2011).
Solution: Consulting with client phase after phase of project, to avoid misunderstanding
between both parties.
- There are new releases of software versions everyday due to which upgradation of
website is necessary to keep website operation smooth (John, 2011).
Solution: Help client to plan a budget for its website’s upgradations. It will bit costly for him
but upgradation also bring him more visitors.

LO2 Understand the specific requirements of the placement
P2.1Agree and prioritise the tasks and responsibilities involved in the work
experience
Company gave me the designation of “Junior Web Developer” and assigned me to the team
working on web development projects. The team lead assigned me the following
responsibilities:
- Mock design of website
- Developing website frontend using HTML5 and CSS3
- Writing and editing content for website
- Styling and designing of content
- Design backend using PHP
- Design and establish Database for website
- Taking backup of website
As I have assigned responsibilities from team lead, next I will prioritize my task according to
its critical nature. For this purpose I am using MoSCoW (Kukhnavets, 2016) method to
prioritize my responsibilities. A brief overview shown in table below.
