Introduction
Cloud computing deals with using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet in
order to store manage and process the data instead of using a local server or a personal computer.
Webb’s Stores have decided to use cloud computing in their daily operation to reduce the
operational complexity (Patidar, Rane & Jain, 2012). The report explains the key concepts of
cloud computing and the use of AWS or Azure to integrate their new regional group of stores
into existing operations. The report further explains the advantages and the disadvantages of
Saas. Furthermore, the differences between the IaaS and PaaS approach is elaborated in the
report.

Use of cloud computing is easy as the client just needs to install a client program to start using it.
Cloud can be used for storing updating and processing data even from a remote place with the
help of internet. A good internet connection is the only necessity of cloud computing. Thus
Webb’s Store should definitely move to cloud computing for making its operation processes
more easier.
Cloud offers a wide range of benefits which includes the efficiency in data storage,

and offers a large range of benefits. Microsoft Azure is chosen for Webb’s store because of its
wide security policies. Azure enables its users site recovery options using Azure backup that

guarantees the security of data even during the system failure. Moreover, Azure has a charge per
minute scheme, which provides a more accurate pricing model. Hence, Microsoft Azure is
chosen for Webb’s Store data integration.

Azure architecture comprises of a Front end device, a Back end platform, a cloud based delivery
and network. Since Azure is a public cloud service provider, it can be accessed by the Web’s
store over internet. Therefore, this acrchitecture could be used by Webb’s store for integrating
their operations.
This architecture offers scalability and allocation and de allocation of resources dynamically as
per demand. The application can be used by all the retail stores of webb’s irrespective of their
