this field people can show their imagination and creative skills for preparing an attractive website
based on the business purpose and their preference. I have designed this field because it is very
passionate in doing design and develop. Both the skills and personal experience of the designer
will help developer to develop stunning web applications. In this days, majority of industries
including small and medium size business organizations are developing as fast as this one.
Therefore, design website is a most appropriate aspect of software development and presenting
the business worldwide. Staying with the web development field, since very first developers
have got the opportunities to push the limits and make a good shape of web browsing as well as
designing. Skilled developers who know how to create great user experiences will only be
finding their skills more in demand over the coming years.
2. About the Developed Website
In 2017 Beauty & Spa® expanded and relocated to new premises at Australia. 2017 saw yet
another luxurious transformation. A stylish mix of sophisticated details and finishes, including
granite, marble, brass, glass, mirror, chandeliers, designer wallpaper, stone benchtops, custom

artworks and lux furnishings - making the overall experience all the more tranquil and inviting.
Facilities consist of 17 rooms including Two Couple's Suites, Magnesium Bath Suite, Vichy
Shower Suite and Relaxation Lounge. Beauty & Spa® has a highly trained staff of passionate
beauty and spa therapists. Specialists in their field, they provide an unparalleled level of
expertise and are dedicated to providing outstanding treatments and results. Clients are
welcomed in a stunning reception area comprising of a wellbeing spa shop, stocked with a
variety of professional skin care, gift items and Nectar's own exclusive range of spa body care
products and massage oils.
3. Main Usage
Beauty & Spa® Day Spa is a multi-award winning day spa and arguably Australia’s most
awarded. Designed to deliver a sense of wellbeing and indulgence, Beauty Day Spa offers a
serene and luxurious environment making it the perfect place to escape today's hectic lifestyle.
Offering a menu of first class treatments which merge techniques and specialties from around the
world - Senses will be invigorated, the body relaxed and the mind lifted into a state of peaceful
euphoria.

Beauty & Spa offer an outstanding range of beauty treatments from facial treatments and
enhancements, manicures and pedicures, waxing, tinting and bleaching, makeup, massage, to
luxury day spa pamper packages.

Beauty & Spa gift vouchers make the perfect gift for any occasion and are sure to impress. Our
vouchers may be purchased in dollar amounts or for specific treatments or packages and are
valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. At Beauty & Spa we pride ourselves on using
only the highest quality professional products. We use and recommend O Cosmedics, emerginC,
Scientific Organics, Nectar Spa Remedies and Nectar Cosmetics.

4. Methodology
We have used Drupal for the development of this beauty service providing site. The site has used
the Drupal 8 features. The site has been developed to encourage the user interaction with the UI
of the site.
The Drupal CMS defines content of a site as nodes, or self-sufficient portions of information on
the site. The nodes of the site links to other nodes on the website. The nodes in the site are s are
organized into collections that can be sorted by the developers.
This collection can be published and updated with site navigation menus available for the
different user groups. The content nodes are cached to the user browses and XML based.
Therefore, it will be possible for the users to launch fast and advanced search queries through the
entire content tree in the CMS, making it easy for the visitors to easily find the content on the site

without too much effort. The site is developed in such a way that the users will have consistent
view on all the devices such as their laptop, tablets and smartphones. This will encourage the
users to visit the site on the go.
The site consists of mainly five nodes, which are Home, Service, Blog, About us, and Contact
Us. As the site is a Prototype for the actual site thus the pages contains links to the different
functionalities such as log in, registrations for a new account and password recovery page for the
users.
5. Modules Used
Many different type of modules are used in this Drupal website. The list of modules is -
 Block - Controls the visual building blocks a page is constructed with. Blocks are boxes
of content rendered into an area, or region, of a web page.
 Color - Allows administrators to change the color scheme of compatible themes.
 Contact - Enables the use of both personal and site-wide contact forms.
 Forum- Provides discussion forums.
 Image - Provides image manipulation tools.
 Pantheon Platform API - Integration with the Pantheon Platform
6. Exploration
In this website - Each node includes a title for it, body containing the main content such as text,
rich media, video files that will help in engaging the users
On the contact page the user will be able to contact and provide feedback to the business or the
developed about the issues they face while visiting the site or booking a service using the site.

7. Peer Assessment
This website has been designed individually. I have used Drupal 7 to design the webpage. All the
works and technical aspects have been done individually.
8. Summary and Conclusion
This website is design prototype based. Here, the developers used all the functionalities of a
website. However, in future, several technical aspects can be incorporated such as Google Map
for real time search, link the website with social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, google
plus, Online Boking including secure payment using SSL technique, etc. SEO technique can be
incorporated for better result.
9. Reflections
I have learned lots of things by for completing this project such as I understand the technology
for preparing the website using Drupal. Technical aspects including designed tools, image insert,
creating links, creating new tabs in the webpage, etc. has been understood properly. I learned
also the use of Drupal CMS where it can be found out that developers can easily add the nodes to
the existing website in minimum efforts.
