Introduction
In this project the main objective was to develop the front end of the site for the
charity organization. The main concern of the organization was to help maximum number of
users who are not able to find seats in the live seminars or different conferences. Instead of
the investing for larger building, the organization determined to develop a website so that
large number of people can get the content or reach to the content who were not be able to
attend seminars due to the space constraint. The developed website will be helpful for the
users and enable the huge number of users so that they can view the recorded conference
videos of their past sessions and as well as download audio of the recorded seminars from the
developed website.
Depending on first impressions of the stakeholders they are considering live
streaming of the conferences on the developed website so that the users who are not able to
get seats are able to view live conferences.
Evaluation of the Developed front end of the site
In this project, the main objective was to make the website more interactive through
the use of the JavaScript as well as CSS in order to enhance overall user experience for the/
attendees to the seminar videos. In addition to that, JavaScript is presently utilized in
developing the sites to manage and implement required business logic for the proposed web
application.
Different control elements of this front end languages are usually coupled with each
other in order to serve required functionality of a web application so that the back end logic
can be completed in an efficient way and with no errors. In this way, it is possible to make
the front end coding small, reusable for different sized applications that are complex in nature

as well as complex to understand. As there are no standard models which can be define
different types of interactions/dependencies between different front end languages such as
HTML, JavaScript and CSS3.
One of the most important factors in any website is the navigation among the pages;
Navigation: This component is considered as signage of a proposed website. This is
helpful in instructing the users where they are on the website and what other pages they can
go and explore are.
Layout: This is helpful in defining the structure of the used content and the way it
will be displayed.
Headers: This component is placed at the top of every page and has fixed position.
This component includes primary navigation controls that requires to be displayed on every
page like the home/index page, login, about, search and gallery pages.
Footers: Similar to the Header component and has the fixed position at the bottom of
the page.
Reflection
With the rapid growth of internet accessibility users of internet are using mobile
devices to access internet instead of their PCs. In order to address the user requirement of
having satisfying experience while browsing different sites on smartphones or other mobile
devices such as tablets, it is important for the web designers to consider and develop the sited
using the responsive web design principles. Responsive websites are those that can be easily
accessible on different devices with smaller screen sizes whether it is a mobile or desktop.
For this the following elements are important to consider;

Block-level elements: This kind of elements can occupy the space related to its
parent element.
Semantic elements: Semantic element is important for the browser and
developer/designer of a website. The example of such elements includes article, section,
instead of using div.
Inline elements: An inline element occupies only the space bounded by the tags that
define the inline element
Forms: Form is helpful in any website that makes a section of the webpage
interactive so that the users can engage with the website in order to submit information to
web server.
Input Types: An input element is used to create interactive controls for web based
forms in order to accept data from the user
In case of CSS, following are the important elements and concepts used in the project;
Basic Positioning of the element: Position property of an element is helpful in
choosing and rendering the alternative rules for an elements.
Static of the element: This attribute determines that an element utilizes normal
behaviour on the webpage.
Flexbox: A layout mode providing for the arrangement of elements on a page so that
the elements behave predictably when the page layout must accommodate different screen
sizes and different display devices
Float: This property specifies that a specific element should be resized and placed
with the flow of the display and according to the left or right of the specified container

Font Styling and typography: Typography is helpful in determining the appearance of

Animations and transitions: This two properties are helpful in defining the
animation style of the different elements on the webpage as well as transition between two

Conclusion
With the ever changing environment of innovation and development it is important
for the developers in order to be aware of latest trends in development so that developers
keep up to date with the ongoing changes in enhancing the user experience. In spite of the
fact that the Web based development technology has changed enormously, but there are still
challenges exist that needs to be addressed. The languages like HTML5, CSS3 needs to be
improved so that the webpages unction perfectly throughout every available browsers such as
chrome, Microsoft edge and Mozilla and Safari. In addition to that, it is important for the
browsers that they should support all the modern extensive features.
