accessible to its customers around the clock (Li and Rose 23).

The domain name helps the customers to recall the web address. It should be created in a way
that is easy to remember.

The format is essential for website development because it impresses the customers by

Navigation helps the customer to move from one point to another through the use of the

The search functionality helps the users to search for an item on a website.

goods. The site is designed in a way that impresses the customers. Impressing the customers
creates a sense of trust. Amazon has search functionality where a customer can search for a
particular product. The search functionality helps the customer to save time that would
instead be spent looking for a specific product on a website containing more than 20,000
different items. Amazon also has simple navigation which defines the different function of
the website. In this case, Amazon has a simple navigation bar containing, departments, your
Amazon.com, Today's Deals, Gift Cards, Registry, sell, and help amongst others.

Information security
Information security helps in securing the confidential information that would otherwise
be maliciously used to attack the organization. The exchange of information is enforced by
generating data access rules and protocols (Vries and Michiel 56). Secured information enhances
healthy competition between the companies of the performing the similar functions. Lack of
information security would lead to hacking, man-in-the-middle attacks and lack of
interoperability in the company. I would recommend the company to implement physical
security and password requirement and guideline information security practices (Traoré et al. 9).
Yahoo is one of the companies that were hacked in 2014. Yahoo reported that one billion
accounts were hacked losing trust from its users. According to the Yahoo CEO, names of people,
their date of birth, phone numbers, email addresses, and passwords were taken with a purpose to
sell them (FindLaw 9).
