Report
AI Summary
This report presents an implementation plan for the HWE Accessories website, addressing critical aspects of the project. It begins with a change-over approach, emphasizing the importance of proper planning and coordination to mitigate risks and ensure a smooth transition. The report then delves into data insertion and migration strategies, highlighting the tools and techniques used for database and storage migration, along with the implementation of data management features. Configuration management is discussed, outlining processes to maintain the quality of project deliverables, including product and project-level configurations. Finally, the report covers the release process for updating the system, emphasizing the importance of a release plan, software development lifecycle, and user acceptance testing to prevent delays and maintain operational efficiency. References to relevant literature are also included.

IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
1. Change over approach
Despite to the known project risks, the organization is planning insufficient project
work as well as execute the transitions from project team to ongoing development team for
the website work. It can lead to increase in project cost to the project organization with
including degraded services to the customers, inaccuracies of the operational, employee
dissatisfaction as well as loss of the business.
The project client identified that there is required to prepare for the transition at the
team level. The change management plan is required to perform the project changes.
Handling to the various website development processes to the project team with proper
planning and coordination (Bettinger et al., 2016). Leadership is required among the project
team so that they are motivated to work in change initiatives such that the project transition is
being proceed based on change request and deprived of direct participation.
2. Data insertion and migration
Due to nature of the technical changes as well as requirements of data integrity, the
companies are facing challenges while migrating to a new system from existing system. The
tools and techniques used to migrate data from one location to other are:
Database migration: This technique is involved to move data between two of
the database engines. It is included migrate database to cloud and need to
change of database vendors.
Storage migration: This process is dealing with moving of data from one
system to other, like hard disk and cloud. Storage migration is required to arise
due to upgrade of the technology (Venturi, 2018). It is required to implement
the data management features such as data validation, reduction of old

information through the process. It is required to enable in cost effective
scaling as well as faster presentation.
3. Configuration management
In the configuration management, it is required to maintain the quality of the project
deliverables, therefore following processes are recommended to maintain, and certify the
functional plus physical features of the project’s deliverables:
a. There is required to have product level configuration such as product related
artefacts- product user manual. It is maintained by the project manager and
project sponsor.
b. There is also required to have project level configuration such as WBS
dictionary and project management plan.
c. The scope statement should be approved by the project client.
d. Quality management plan will help in analyzing the project deliverables by
ensuring that a quality materials and equipment delivered to the project client
(Morozov, Kalnichenko, & Liubyma, 2017).
4. Release process for updating the system
In order to prevent costly project delays as well as keep the organizational operations
running, it is required to invest in the release management process such as:
a. A release plan is required to track as well as ensure that project management
standards are followed.
b. Software development lifecycle helps the project manager to develop and
maintain the website with a high degree of quality system (Govindasamy,
2019).
