1. Challenges encountered in the construction of the project
While conducting the website design and management project it has been found that there
are many challenges that may interrupt the success of the project. In order to initiate the project
or evaluate the website design and management project the project manager should develop a
scope statement. Besides the scope statement if accurate project objectives are not developed by
then while conducting the project it may not be conducted following all the phases. Another
challenge that was encountered while conducting this project implies inappropriate development
of project background. It means that lack of research is the other challenge that interrupts the
success of the website development project. I have another challenge in terms of limited range of
fund while conducting the research work.
It means that while conducting the research work on website development and
management proper funding was not structures. As a result all financial components and
elements may be interrupted. In order to conduct the project the data sources that are identify
were primary sources. The other challenge that was encountered was inaccurate questionnaire
preparation. As a result the survey that has been conducted was also failed to deliver needful
resultants. Inadequate knowledge and skills of the software development team members. Due to
lack of skills and knowledge of the project team members the project associates faced major
security challenges. Due to lack of skills and technical knowledge the project team members
failed to incorporate proper security measures with website. Again the roles and responsibilities
are not properly distributed among the team members and as a internal team conflict has
occurred that also needs to be mitigated.

2. Interaction and use of support tutors/ peers/supervisor
In order to design and manage the website development project my tutors and supervisors
have helped me throughout the development and implementation. Even after implementation of
the project also they have helped me to become familiar with the website maintenance also.
3. Skills required/used for successful construction of the proposal
In order to construct and manage the website development project the project manager
and project team members need to acquire some professional skills and knowledge and those are
as follows:
Technical knowledge: The team associates need to possess certain technical knowledge
in terms of security and technical opportunities. As much the project team members will gain
technical knowledge they will be able to deliver an accurate and client centric website.
Problem solving and decision-making ability: The project team must have problem
solving abilities and effective decision making power considering both the business and
consumers perspectives.
Risk management: The development team should have risk managing capabilities.
Firstly before identifying the target audience the project team must identify the possible risks that
may interrupt the success of the project. Then those risks are to be analyzed and prioritized
accordingly.
Conflict resolution power: The project team members require having proper team
management capabilities so that internal team conflicts can be avoided completely.

4. Lessons learnt from the process and strategies to move forward
After analyzing the details of the website design and management project details I have
learnt that there are certain knowledge management areas associated to project those are needed
to be considered and updated each time to balance a project so that it can obtained projected
outcomes. The leading knowledge Management areas are risk management, time management,
cost management, scope, communication and stakeholder management. If these areas are
properly manage by the project team then the project will be able to move forward towards
success.
I think that professional open communication will give an independent platform to the
project team members and they will be able to share their creativities and innovative ideas to the
rest of the project team members through this approach. Apart from this, time and cost
management are the two other areas must be operated accurate to make sure that during and even
after implementation of the project also no such overrunning cost or over allocated cost issues
will occur. In addition to this another important component that has to be managed by the project
team members is stakeholder management. With the help of proper stakeholder management
their interest, roles and responsibilities will become much clear to the associates and they will be
able to deliver their assigned roles and responsibilities accordingly during the design and
management of the website development project. Above these aspects the project manager and
team members needs to adopt accurate business strategies so that they can give strong
competition to the similar type of projects. In order to attract more numbers of consumers and
retain the existing customers the websites should be designed considering the golden rules of
responsive web development. I think that internal decision making power will help to minimize
the operational and functional errors.
