Part 3- Questions
1. Yes, WBS contains all the deliverables in the project team charter. WBS addresses all
the project tasks discussed in the project charter.
2. WBS includes the project management tasks required for managing the project plan.
It includes initiation (guest list selection), planning of the wedding, and execution of
wedding, performance and project closure.
3. The top down approach is considered as high level project deliverables or project
activities needed to accomplish the objectives of wedding planning. The bottom-up
approach is focused on project details to complete project work (Robinson, Ryan, &
Abbasi 2018).
WBS is developed with both bottom as well as top down approach by providing each
individual details of the wedding ceremony. All the project phases are provided with
complete details from guest listing to execution of the marriage ceremony.
4. The product oriented WBS is included project scope with manageable project
deliverables. The project deliverables are tangible project components which are
required to deliver in completed time (Zecheru & Olaru, 2016). The process oriented
WBS is defined as project steps required to deliver each of project deliverables.
This WBS is process oriented as it provides with each project phases required to plan
a wedding ceremony. The WBS is followed each of the project phases to deliver

required project deliverables (Kerzner, 2019). It defines scope of the wedding plan in
rems of the work phases.
5. WBS is delivered in directly in Ms Project for better viewing of the project tasks.
There is proper rearranging of the order of tasks and then inputting it in project to
finish WBS.
6. WBS is provided in tabular format for better understanding of each project WBS
levels. Tabular form of WBS uses to break entire project work in manageable pieces
(Hudoyo, Latief, & Sagita, 2019). It also shows the project duration of each individual
tasks to know what time required for each tasks to complete the work.
7. Yes, I work with my teammates to work to determine the major tasks. All the project
team members supported me to determine which tasks would come after what
(Meredith, Mantel Jr, & Shafer, 2017). Based on the concepts of project management,
we have arranged the WBS tasks for wedding plan and input it in Ms Project for get a
graphical view of the tasks namely Gantt chart.
