In the first week, the students learn about the concept of the design thinking process and its
related innovative practices that assist in making the process of design thinking more effective
and efficient. This process assists in guiding the students to provide solutions to IT-based
problems (Brown, 2008). The concept of design thinking assist the students in identifying the
innovative process for developing the innovative designs by following its effective stages which
includes ideate, defining, designing and developing the designs. This week assist the beginners
to set their mind for understanding the concepts of designing by focusing over the human needs
and wants and develop the solutions accordingly. This week is totally the introductive class that
assists the students in understanding the design thinking concept and its need in the society
(Glen, et. al., 2014). This week is quite interactive where the teachers clear over the doubts on
this concept because it is the new concept for each and every students present in the class.
