1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The executive summary provides an overview of the content contained in the feasibility
study document. Many people write this section after the rest of the document is completed.
This section is important in that it provides a higher level summary of the detail contained
within the rest of the document.
The main aim of this assignment is to find the gap, which exists in the implementation of the
wellness programs. This paper will provide necessary solutions to fill out the gaps, which are
found in an effective way. Being healthy is the top most priority for surviving in a well manner
and for achieving longevity. It can be said that in the business organization the employers want
their employees to be healthy because the healthy employees tend to be more productive and the
absenteeism rate is low. The health insurance resources are used less by the healthy and the
active employees (Haines, Andrew and Jones 2014). Therefore, it can be said that the managers
and the employers needs to give focus on the wellness policies and objectives of the company.
Employers need to consult about the consequences that will affect the organization in
implementation of the health policies. This topic will highlight how the employers will
implement the wellness policies, which will provide many incentives so that the employers can
lead a healthy lifestyle. This research will also highlight the cost of implementing the policies,
which will motivate the employees to lead a healthy lifestyle.
2. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
This section provides a high-level description of the products and/or services which are
being considered as part of the feasibility study. The purpose of this section is to provide
detailed descriptions of exactly what the organization is considering so this information can
be applied to the following sections of the document. It is important that this description
captures the most important aspects of the products and/or services that the organization is
considering as well as how it may benefit customers and the organization.
Employee absenteeism is an important issue in the organization nowadays. The main cause
of the employee absenteeism is the poor health condition of the employee due to the increase
workload and the harmful work environment. Employees tend to suffer from low blood pressure,
high cholesterol, diabetes, stress, fatigue and other health conditions. These problems can be

solved by implementing wellness program and providing medical support to the employees. One
of the most important solution to understand the condition of the employee is to conduct blood
test, which will help to measure cholesterol and blood glucose. The organization can also provide
the facility of indoor gyms so that the employees can stay fit and healthy. Apart from this, the
organization can include yoga sessions, which will relieve stress and will help the employees to
focus on the task. If the organization provides these services to their employees then the
employee absenteeism rate can come down by huge margin and will increase the productivity of
the employee.
3. TECHNOLOGY CONSIDERATIONS
This section should explain any considerations the organization must make with regards to
technology. Many new initiatives rely on technology to manage or monitor various business
functions. New technology may be developed internally or contracted through a service
provider and always result in costs which must be weighed in determining the path forward.

Technology has been very helpful in providing health benefits. Employees are often indulged
with the work pressure and they do not get time for workout. This causes a lot of health issue and
this should be solved as soon as possible so that the employee can maintain their health.
Companies like Google, Microsoft is successful because of their employee wellness program.
They have included gym in their workplace so that the employee can do some workout in their
free time. Apart from this, to conduct a blood test they need to arrange machines to measure the
blood glucose level and cholesterol. For providing fitness facilities, they will need technologies
like – exercise bikes, treadmill, elliptical cross trainer etc. This will help them to stay fit and
healthy by which the rate of absenteeism will be less. These technologies may incur a lot of
expenditure but in the end, this will help the management in improving the working condition
and the health of the customer.
4. PRODUCT/SERVICE MARKETPLACE
This section describes the existing marketplace for the products and/or services the
organization is considering. It may describe who the target market consists of for these
products or services, who the competitors are, how products will be distributed, and why
customers might choose to buy our products/services. Most marketplaces are dynamic
environments in which things change constantly. To enter a new marketplace blindly will
usually result in an organization not fully understanding its role and not maximizing its
resulting benefits.
The service that is discussed here is providing medical facility to the employee of the
organization. Introducing wellness programs to the employees will help them to stay fit and will
reduce the employee absenteeism. Many organizations have introduced wellness programs that
have eventually increased the production of the organization. The competition in the market
place is increasing so it is necessary to control the employee absenteeism. Greater productivity
will help in competing with the other competitors. The blood test can be conducted once in every
two months so that any change in the blood pressure or any other issue happens can be identified

and treated immediately. This will also act as a motivating factor for the employee and this will
help them to increase their production.

to yield the greatest return on investment.
The organization can promote the implementation of the wellness programs in their
company’s website. The promotion can be done also be done in the newspaper. This will create a
good impression and will attract skilled employees in the organization. The organization can
provide personal mail or notice to the employee about the inclusion of the wellness program in
the company. The promotion channel like television, radio and social media can also be used.
6. ORGANIZATION AND STAFFING
With many new products or services there may be a need for additional staffing or for an
organization to restructure in order to accommodate the change. These are important
considerations as they may result in increased costs or require an organization to change its
practices and processes.
For implementing the wellness program, the organization needs a lot of change to make in the
management . The organization need to hire someone who will be conducting the tests. There
should be another employee which will keep all the records about the issues health and safety
issues of the employees.
