INTRODUCTION
Project management is being defined as the system which assists the company in
implementing a project for attaining a specific objective. It is very necessary for companies to
effectively implement the project management steps in order to complete the working efficiency
and attaining the objective of the project. The current study is based on Wendy, which is a fast
food chain selling ice cream, shake, breakfast, hot dog and other things. In addition to this the
major project which will be focused in the report is location based analytics which will assist
Wendy in finding the best way for the new site. Along with this another project which will be
used within the current report is the use of AI that is artificial intelligence within the
transformation of business. The current report will outline the scope of the project and the
various leadership styles being used along with the project management methodology for
completion of the project in better than effective manner.

Scope of project
Currently the company is dealing in selling fast food like ice creams, shakes, breakfast,
hot dogs and many other different aspects. The scope of the project involves using software in
order to segment the population based on the different demographic information (Armenia and
et.al., 2019). This demographic information includes age, income and many other related aspects.
The current project is based on using this software in order to evaluate and gather demographic
data and information for customising the menu at different locations. This is very necessary
because there are different people living in different areas and in case the menu will not be
decided on the basis of location then it can provide negative impact over the working of the
company.
Leadership style
Within the completion of any project it is very necessary that appropriate leadership style
is being used by the company and the manager. This is crucial because the leadership style assist
in guiding the employees that how they have to work efficiently and effectively (Shaqour, 2022).
In the case of Wendy’s location based analytic project the use of transformation leadership is
being implemented. The reason underlying this fact is that transformational leadership includes

adapting to the changes in very easy and effective manner. Hence this will assist the company in
adapting to the project in appropriate way and all the objectives will be attained efficiently.
Project management methodology and integrating it with leadership style
For the successful completion of the project there are different methodology which the
company can use an implement. In the present case of Wendy’s location based analytic project
the use of agile project management methodology is beneficial. This is a type of project
management methodology which is suitable and case of effective software development
(Stanitsas, Kirytopoulos and Leopoulos, 2021). This includes focusing on the flexibility and
effective work breakdown so that the project can be completed in better an effective manner.
This kind of methodology focuses on value of teamwork and iterative improvements which
alternative results in better treatment of the objectives of business. This methodology can also be
integrated with transformational leadership. This is particularly because of the reason that agile
methodology focuses on improving the efficiency of software and its use and transformational
leadership also assist in developing and implementing the changes taking place within the
external environment.

very necessary that effective human resource is being used within the working. This is very
necessary because in case the human resource will not be good and efficient than the objective of
the project will not be attained (Guo and Zhang, 2022). Hence for this qualified and skilled
human resource is being employed within the project who has good knowledge relating to the

use of software and Analytics. Along with this different factors are also considered like having
good training and development system. This is very necessary because there are many changes
taking place within the external environment and it is very necessary for company to implement
those in order to efficiently work (Filippetto, Lima and Barbosa, 2021). Hence, the company has
a good and robust system of training and development which continuously work on improving
the efficiency of the employees. Along with this different work styles and the culture of being
created and focused by the company. This is very necessary because in case the culture of the
company will not be good and comfortable then employees will not be working efficiently. Thus
it is very necessary for Wendy that they focus on developing good and efficient culture so that
employees a compatible and happy working with others.

Risk of the project
Along with the Wendy’s location based analytics another project which they will be
focusing is the implementation of artificial intelligence within their working. For evaluating this
project it is very necessary that all the risk of the project are being assessed and for this
predictive project analytics is being used. This is a type of Analytics which is being used in order
to identify the different types of risk being involved within the project and whether the project
will become successful or not. In the present case of implementation of artificial intelligence the
different recipe involved within the project are as follows-
 The first and foremost risk involved within the project of implementation of AI is that it
lacks traceability. This simply means that the working of AI cannot be traced easily and
effectively as the total working is cloud based.
 In addition to this another is being involved within this project is the data Sourcing and
violation of personal privacy. The data being used might not be private and confidential
and this affects the working of the projector in negative manner.
Justification of project
In the current modern and technologically advanced working environment, for getting
successful it is necessary for companies to adapt to the latest technology and projects. With
regards to current working environment, the use of artificial intelligence is very common and
increasing (Kaufmann and Kock, 2022). Thus for this reason the project relating to artificial
intelligence is being used by Wendy's in order to improve the efficiency of the business and to

meet the latest trends. Hence, the implementation of artificial intelligence within the working of
the company will be a good project and it will be providing benefits to the company.
Optimal leadership style for project
In order to efficiently completely project it is very necessary for company to efficiently
use the effective leadership style. This is very necessary for the company that they use
appropriate leadership style in order to complete the project successfully. Hence in order to
complete the project relating to implementation of artificial intelligence within Wendy the use of
combination of transformational and transactional leadership will be implemented (Tereso and
et.al., 2019). The transformational leadership is the one which assistive company implementing
positive changes within the company and for those who particularly do not want to follow the
change. Along with this the transactional leadership is the one which includes the leader relaying
on rewards and punishment for attaining and optimal performance of the employees and to attend
the objective. The combination of both these leadership style will be assisting Wendy in
effectively implementing the project relating to artificial intelligence.
Suggested project management methodology and its integration with leadership style
In order to make the project successful the most essential aspect is to decide the
methodology in appropriate manner. The reason behind this fact is that in case the methodology
will not be good and effective than the working will not be done in proper way. Hence in order to
implement the project relating to artificial intelligence the use of waterfall methodology is being
suggested to Wendy. This is particularly being suggested to the company because this
methodology includes following a sequential development processes which helps in effective
implementation of the project (Chen and et.al., 2019). All the phases of the project are flowing
like a waterfall and because of this methodology is named waterfall. It involves different phases
like analysis, designing, development, testing and implementing. All these steps need to be
followed by the company so that the project of Artificial Intelligence can be implemented in
successful man of.

Describing team
In order to make the implementation of project relating to artificial intelligence within
Wendy, the effective use of team working must be focused. This is pertaining to the fact that
when the work will be done in team then it will be improving the overall efficiency of the project
and its successful implementation. For this Wendy undertakes the use of Tuckman team
development theory so that team is being formulated in proper and effective manner (Pan and
Zhang, 2021). This model assist in framing an effective team and in case team will be effective
then automatically the working capacity of employees will be improved and project objectives
will be attained. This model involves 5 different stages that is forming, storming, norming,
performing and adjourning. When all these steps are being used and complied in proper manner
then the working and implementation of project is automatically improved.
Democratising the project
In order to effectively run the project it is necessary for company to democratises the
project in better and effective manner. The reason underlying this fact is that when the project
will be completed by keeping in mind the democratic principle then the working will be effective
and objectives will be attained in better and effective way (The democratization of project
management, 2022). For this, the methods are clearly defined and the roles and responsibilities
are divided in better and effective manner. Thus, this improves the working efficiency of the
company and the project is being completed in better and effective manner.
Reflection
With the above both the projects I learn that there are many different challenges which
are being faced in managing the business. Major challenge which i encountered while managing
these project was the issue relating to budget. The budget was very limited and it was very tough
to manage both the projects within that limited budget (Thesing, Feldmann and Burchardt, 2021).
Thus this assisted me in improving my efficiency relating to managing the budget and the scares
resources as well. Also the market is very competitive and there are very less resources which

are to be used by many people. Thus, this project assisted mean developing the skill of managing
the limited and scarce resources and such a way that they are optimally used. Along with this
another challenge which I faced was prioritising the task. There are different task which need to
be undertaken in order to attend the objective of the projects. Hence this was the major issue
which I face that which task to be completed first in order to attend the objective of the business.
But with help of effective time management and prioritising skills I was able to manage the work
and complete the project successfully.
CONCLUSION
In the end it is concluded that managing the project is very necessary for the growth and
development of the company. The reason beneath this fact is that when the effective project
management strategies will be used then automatically the project will become successful. The
above report highlighted two project that is location based analytics and artificial intelligence.
Both the project are different in terms of characteristic and the methodology being used. The
human resource requirement for first project is technical whereas in the second one all type of
employee are required that is skilled, semi- skilled and unskilled as well. Also the methodology
used in both the project was different. The former included the use of agile methodology as it
was related with software and its use. Whereas the latter included the use waterfall technology
which included different stages of implementation for the project.
