About the project
The New M5 project of Westconnex is currently running and aims at constructing a new twin
underground tunnel for a motorway from Kingsgrove to St Peter's. This is the twice of M5 East
Corridor capacity and will be of nine kilometres (Westconnex, 2015). This project involves the
transformation of a waste facility into a new interchange at the city of St Peters.

The scope statement of the project is developed for detailing the project deliverables and project
objectives. The scope statement of New M5 WestConnex is as follows:
