This assignment is basically a proposal which will introduce to the notion of social media as a
digital communication tool for running and managing operations. This proposal highlights the
operations of the Westpac Groups. The prime communication tools which are used by the
Westpac Groups comprises of Facebook, Instagram and twitter. The main purpose of this
proposal is to examine and asses that digital communications help in transforming the business
which is conducted and managed by the Westpac Groups. The other main purpose of this
assignment is to present the Strategies which must be adopted by the Westpac to improve the
digital communications. In addition to this, the purpose of this proposal is to gain an
understanding ofreading the relationship between business communications and social media
tools. This proposal is developed by using certain assumption which states that that there is a
