Ice cream (Steger, 2017). The strategic plan aims to provide a direction which is taken from
business alignment goals. It is as per the As-Is and To-be state of technology for Lee and Mary.
In the coming pages of the report, an idea has been provided with respect to the present
state of each of the technologies. It is completely related to IT globalization plan of Lee and
Mary’s Gourmet Ice Cream. An explanation has been provided about the identified weakness can
affect the organization global performance. A list of recommendation has been provided with
respect to data storage, unified communication system, ERP, POS and CRM.

With the passage of time, the organization grow and decide to carry out the competition
on international level. To carry out this, they need to formulate a global IT plan so that they can
manage worldwide expansion (Rosati & Conti, 2016). Most of the firm took up the decision of
outsourcing of IT projects from overseas so that they gain a competitive advantage from it. Lee
and Mary’s Gourmet Ice Cream is a business which is in the middle of planning for worldwide
expansion of their firm. To carry out the expansion, the IT system of this firm needs to go
through a number of updates.
