Under the WHS legislation there are 5 situations when a person conducting a business or
undertaking (employer) must consult with workers. Name 3 of them.

The duty of the employer is to provide correct information regarding the use, handling, safety, care, transportation of
the machinery or any substance. It should not risk the health of any of the employees by any means.

2. It is the duty of the employer to monitor the health condition and status of every worker. The allergies should be

ruled out if any related to dust, fumes, heat or cold.

The employer must keep records of the health status of each and every employee working in his/her firm.

3. provide the workers with adequate facilities such as the toilets, drinking water, first aid, emergency care, dining areas

etc.
