For the purpose of this paper, the chosen three situations include the following, accident
and incident reporting, handling chemicals and hazardous substances and the identification and
reporting of hazardous1. It is advisable for there to be platforms in place which can easily
facilitate all incidents and accidents reporting. This is important to effectively enhance the
hazardous situation migration. In instances where employees require urgent attention, prudent
and quick solutions are vital. It is also vital for all work place employees to be prudent and
responsible enough to put across all cases or areas which appear to be unsafe in the work place.
This is important in providing quick solutions such as urgent medication where illness or injury
has taken place among others.
2. Once your situations have been selected, you need to access the relevant codes of
practice from the Safework website or the website governing WHS relevant to your
state.
According to Safe work website, the relevant codes of practice that are in line with the
selected situations include; evaluation of work, risk management of hazardous chemicals at the
workplace. Important to note is that there are a number of occupational hazards that are prevalent
in the work place environment. Lastly are the manual tasks of hazards.
