day that is 24 hours. It typically includes the vehicle access forecourt with minimum 6 pump
stations, food bar, managers stockroom, retail shop and managers offices. They also sell the fuel,
gas, hot pies, oil, supermarket goods, cold drinks etc. With inclusion of the retained workers
from ISS buyout stores, the company is having the workforce of around 60 employees. The staff
belongs from the different range of the linguistic and the cultural backgrounds. The significant
proportion of the employees has poor literacy skills along with poor reading. Major of the

5. Draft of WHS Policy
Our company intend to ensure safety of all entities whether they are workers, employees,
managers, clients and visitors. Clients, visitors and employees are one of the most important
stakeholders and firm believed that their life must be safeguard to develop healthy and
trustworthy work environment in the firm.
Management responsibilities are as follows.
· Manager will be responsible to ensure that all relevant rules and regulations that are prepared
by central and state government are followed to ensure safety of employees at the
workplace. In case any government officer visit premises and find serious loop holes then in
that case strict action can be taken against manager.
· Manager will be responsible to check all places from safety point of view so that if there is
anything wrong action can be taken on time in order to handle the situation. Such kind of
action can prevent happening of any mishap event.
Employees will be responsible for.
· Employees main responsibility will be to ensure that they are adopting every safety measure
prescribed by the managers. Many times, it is observed that manager does not take safety
measures seriously and incident happened. In order to avoid such kind of situation
employees must adopt all safety measures properly.
·Participate regularly in safety campaigns. Many new employees added in the workforce which
are not aware about health and safety measures. Thus, all employees are liable to attend
training session organized in every 6 months so that they can keep in mind way in which
